Every two days is fine if you're in good enough shape. I'm just saying this: Never do too much too often. I don't want you or anybody else making a mistake I made. I wanted to become too powerful, too fast and it lead to horrible injuries which defeated the purpose of working out. Do what feels right my friend.
@aaronharun I was a 5'9 eith grader back then and I was two inches away from rim. Build up the strength. 1st month do 3 sets of 20 lunges twice a week. Next month do the same but three times a week. Gradually add more reps but remember to always warm up, stretch lightly, do the lunges, then stretch again lightly.
@aaronharun not every day. I made the mistake of doing them every day once It definitely takes a toll on your knees. Don't be too obsessive, all things take time to build, including physical strength.
how about every 2 days?, my legs are pretty powerful, not as powerful as they could be, i have a martial arts background, i could work on it a little more?
I found this video after reading what Hollywood actor Channing Tatum's physical trainer William J. Harris said he trained Tatum to do to prepare for his role in the new movie "Fighting." Tatum would do 5 sets of 50 Walking Lunge Steps. This would be on Day 1. I believe it would be once a week. Keep in mind, Channing was already in shape. So a new person doing this would start off much smaller. You can get the full workout online. Lots of misinformation out there, though.
OK great exercise... but "a better butt can be yours by just walking"?? Really??... That's your motivation?

Sorry, I made a mistake there. Channing did a "3 day on" and "1 day off" routine. So that actually works out to be 2x a week.
