@MarisandGrady Didn't see it w/ Daniel (I saw it with Darren), but I agree. The material itself is too good to pass up, especially in a solid Broadway revival like the one playing now.
I saw this movie for the very first time in 1986. My relatives & I visited my grandfather at his apartment one saturday. This movie popped up on tv and we sat around to watch it. When there was still a half hour left to go in the movie, it came time to go out to eat. I wanted to stay and watch the rest of the movie, but I had to go out with the rest of them. So I missed how it ended. About 12 years later I buy a used VHS copy of this movie on eBay & FINALLY got to see the movie in its entirety

"Finchy, thinking of two broads in the middle of one kiss is dirty" ROFLMAO! One of the best lines in any comedy.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
This looks like honest to god one of the most annoying things I've ever seen.

I have no idea why Maureen Arthur only appeared in a few movies. This scene shows that she had a fine sense of comic timing.

Do Finch and Rosemary ever kiss? I can't find a clip of it anywhere on Youtube. Ha.

I'm in the pit orchestra for my school musical, we're doing this play and it's very interesting.

@blaq7427
This movie IS from 1967. The original broadway production debuted in 1961

@blaq7427 I think it was the stage play that came out in 1961, and the movie based on it in 1967.
