Anime Eyes Tutorial (Photoshop)

Can I just ask how you manage to get such clean straight lines? I use a table let and I find I have to go back and erase to get my line drawing to looks half decent...

@BytheseaMrTodd Well, in photoshop, the line tool automatically makes clean straight lines. (didn't have a tablet when i made this video) But recently i have switched to Paint tool SAI and the lines still come out beautifully smooth and clean as long as you use a tablet.

@5n1p3m4s7eR Thanks, I went back to photoshop and messed around with the brush tool presets, its a lot better now, but I think I will need practice before I'm at your level. xD

The trick is probably in keep your hand straight and still as you draw. x3

Also, if you have SAI... When finished with your rough sketch, make new "Linework" Layer (Icon Next To "Layer") and do your line art there. Linework Layer lets you make straight lines, curve lines and stuff. Just hold down "Ctrl" in Linework Layer and you can curve the lines however you like them to curve. If you know how to use SAI, the you can change the pressure for the lines too.

@zanatos100 It is possible to do all of this in photoshop Elements. Color wise. Making the lineart will be a little more difficult because it doesnt have a curve tool. but practice with the tablet can solve that ^^
