wouldn't be 2.2L cos the only impreza (from knowledge, MIGHT be wrong) was the 22B. wasn't made in the wagon..only the 2 door coupe.. his descrition said it was a wagon :)

You're knowledge is wrong. I have a 1998 2.2L Impreza Wagon, and I recently found out that Subaru made a 2.2 Impreza Wagon with a stock turbo. Those engines are apparently pretty rare now. I don't believe there was ever a 1998 wagon with an engine larger then 2.2, so it's either that or a 2.0
Yeah. I bottomed out on a gnarly logging trail once and it separated my muffler from the tail pipe on my stock 98 Impreza, and even that sounded pretty beastly haha. It's pretty easy to make a Subaru sound mean. I can't wait until I have enough money to do some mods. Air intake first, then exhaust... then maybe turbo hehehehe.
