  • this video was so nice i love the other one 2!!! i now know all this info and i tried so many tutorials on youtube but none of them looked good on me

  • different eye shapes are not because of evolution. the different tribes of the earth had different looks wayy in the beginning.

  • i have like two creases -.-

one thats like really really small RIGHT above my lashline and a not so deep crease where the normal crease should be. when i wake up, that crease is really defined but then afterwards, it fades T_T

  • very helpful! but one problem i have is where is the "outer corner" that juicystar07 or allthatglitters21 are always talking about??? can anyone help?

  • you're cuteee ><♥

  • thank you. helped a lot

  • You should be a cosmotology teacher :)

  • Awesome video! I like how you explained the reason of why the creases are in different places, other than saying oh bc they're Asian... or oh bc they are not... Also, your eyes are very pretty!

  • excellent video!!it helps me a lot. i would like to ask you that....my crease is so small....and eyelids are"hidden". when i use eyeliner, it' easy to smudge....how can i prevent this problem?

  • @carrieyipstar You have a heavily hooded lid that folds over a lot. I would recommend setting your eyeliner with black or dark eyeshadow. This will help prevent it from smudging or transfering to your eyelid. Also consider using an eyelid primer such as UDPP or a paint pot so your eyeshadow lastslonger throughout the day! :)

  • @carrieyipstar Maybelline Ultra Liner, it's the only eyeliner that doesn't smudge on me. I have heavily lidded Asian eyes that are super greasy. It's a liquid eyeliner, that dries into sort of a plasticky line that can peel off. Since it's sorta plasticky, it will not smudge, no matter what you do. Only do one layer otherwise it can get flaky.

  • I have double eyelids but they overlap! So difficult~ You helped so much! :D

  • it took me FOREVER to realize i had a monolid!!

thanks so much for the great video =]

it's very hard to wear anything w/ more than one or two colors haha i usually just stick to one. i've also realized that my eyeshadow almost never creases lol i guess that's just a pro of having a monolid =]

i'm just starting out and i think this video was so informative.

  • wht about people that have 6 creases in one eye? lol, my dad has that for some reason.

  • lol. "typical for asian cultures"

  • This is great!! Super helpful! Thank you soo much :D

  • Dumb white guy comment. Your eyes look nice without a lot of make up ... (I guess just eyeliner...)

Must best friend in China has the first kind but she made in artificially have a fold to "increase her eye size".

  • You're amazing. :) This helped me out! Thanks so much!

  • The best explanation of eye types I've found on YouTube, especially for Asian eyelids. You've helped me so much, thank you!

  • Thank you so much for watching!! I am so so so glad you found this helpful...it makes such a big difference to understand your eye type and what works/doesn't work haha...if you see the comment above, I've had days where my makeup just looked super unnatural and funny...and I couldn't figure out why!! LOL until I learned about the eye shape/types :)

  • Erii you great explaining because i had seems some guru's expecially spanish guru's that when they do a tutorial dont explain exactly the parts of the eye when they are are applying, thanks for the tips and ideas!!

  • I'm so glad this video helped you. I know I was very confused when I started out in makeup and I had days where my makeup just looked ridiculous and I couldn't figure out why. Understanding that different eye types look better with different styles of makeup make all the difference! :D

  • That's interesting. How you learn so much about eyes?

Why need a crease tho? :P

Asians tend to often have really nice eye shapes and when they smile, if their eyes are really dark ...

  • this was really helpful ^-^

i'm hispanic and i have a small crease. lol

  • Ya the small crease is troublesome sometimes!! Hehe... :(
