  • Ron Paul's logic destroys Ben Bernanke's.

  • Bernankes's logic destroys paul's

  • @wisebbq1 Bernankes's logic destroys itself.

  • lol 3:50... "whats your phd in? economics? oh, whats that? MD? stfu."

  • @zx92027xz Appeal to authority FAIL

  • Dwight Schrute in the background

  • Who the FUCK is the guy behind him bobbing his head around, feeling his jaw, mushing his hand in his face, looking around like an idiot, wearing multiple rings on his fingers??? Doesn't Ron Paul have the sense to NOT put someone like that behind him??? That's exactly the problem with Ron Paul..he's WEIRD. NOBODY WANTS A WEIRD PRESIDENT, SIR.

  • @johnnyharpe

I'm sure he didn't put him there.

And if by "weird" you mean "logical," I understand your point. It does seem to me that barely anyone votes on smart presidents with good plans. It's all about charisma, money, and looks. Despicable. There should be some type of test you have to take prior to voting that determines whether or not you are politically-adept enough to deserve a vote.

  • he is so distracting ..the one in the background . looks like an alien ....

  • @njstalks That's what big government liberals do when they hear libertarians speak, it's not part of their programming. " MALFUNCTION! PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY DOES NOT COMPUTE, GOVERNMENT ENCROACHMENT ONTO PERSONAL LIBERTY MUST EXIST LOGICALLY, MALFUNCTION, POSSIBLE OVERLOAD IMMINATE!"

  • hunter s thompson?

  • I think the guy behind him should run....is this for real? That girl beside him is TRIPPING OUT

The Fed probably paid the guy in the background!

  • what the hell is that bald guy doing???? he got ants in his pants or what? drugs?

  • @sgdavies The girl next to him is freaked out by him.

  • Hey.... I think that this guy should become our next president..

  • Isaiah 3:15 KJV

What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord God of hosts.

  • Anyone who was like me and didn't understand everything ron paul talks about with monetary policy because he only gets like 2 minutes to explain it should google "hmscoop.com"....really good cut to the chase overview....i'm a firm believer in his economic beliefs.

  • I suspect that 'the idiot' in the background that everyone is talking about could be a planted individual to distract viewers from Paul's message of truth. Note how the guy looks crazy, has a very shiny gold watch, and seems to be deliberately gathering attention to himself.

Unfortunately, since Ron Paul rambles on and on, his message usually gets diluted anyhow.

  • I can't concentrate on the discussions with that idiot on the background.

  • 03:50

  • There could be a parody in this.

  • First this goofball says that we should deregulate the government, then he prattles about how the Fed is not audited. Cupcake, the Fed is just a quasi-full-blown private entity with all its members part of the private sector, a.k.a. bankers. That is a contradiction. Either you want to regulate the Fed, or you wish for the government, a.k.a. people, not to.

I suppose, the erratic movement of a guy behind Paul pretty much reflects his thought processing as well.

  • @ninuxy Hey Ron paul is for the reduction of government interference in the lives of individuals. The key to his philosophy is that the private federal reserve along with our other major banks has a stranglehold on our economy. Furthermore the influence of corporations is completely out of wack with what a free market should be. He's just trying to wake people up to what is really going on around him.

  • @Ryeburnyard The "private" banks ARE the financial backbone of our economy, and as you said, they have a stranglehold on our economy. He is advocating a laissez faire which will result in stranglehold of 10 folds worse than today's status quo.

"[I]nfluence of corporation" is exactly what Libertarians are after by eliminating regulatory bodies and promotion of cowboy Capitalism. He is goading people down the slaughter house with his infantile Libertarian zealotry.

  • Starting now and going into the future, all a tax money will go to military and police, no social programs, tax will be 50% on workers, plus school, property, and sales tax, which make tax's 75% of total income, the rich and corporations will pay no taxes, they will make the workers pay the taxes. There will be no unions, all jobs will have little to no pay. Corporations will and do control the govt, the govt will serve the rich and corporations, not the people, there will be no civil liberty

  • Also, if you listen to Thomas Woods speeches, you would understand that periodic recessions are going to happen and are good in a free market system. He theorizes that the actual wealth is created in that recessionary period and it makes sense.

  • Bernanke gives us a history lesson on the creation of the Fed which we already know, talking about it being created to prevent periodic financial crises. If so, then they are not doing their job very well, don't ya think? Not only are there periodic crises but they are deeper and longer than ever. Bernanke and the Fed must be shut down. All they do is control people and money to benefit the few and hurt the people.

  • How can Bernanke remain so arrogant when confronted by Rep. Paul and told that what 'The Fed' is doing is ruining the people of this country? His arrogance and calm comes from his (mis)empowerment by the antique Federal Reserve Act -- of 1913! There can be NO accountability as long as this ruinous Act is left untouched!

  • Is the girl over Dr. Paul's shoulder the one from Jesse Ventura's "FEMA camp" episode?

  • What if the Fed just deflates money from time to time to beat people down whenever people began to try and change the paradigm? What if it's just a clever form of slavery? I mean, look at when recessions have occurred. "All these kids are figuring out how to put us out of business again. We better start a war. Get those oil prices up! We'll show them who's the boss. Get them back in their shacks and in front of that mass media! The legacy depends on it!"

  • look at the size of that guy's head, it's further away than Ron's yet it's still bigger.

  • Comment removed

  • Is he aware there is a gigantic deranged psycho sitting behind him?

  • the Federal Reserve is a bunch of off shore criminal banksters~they're NOT "Federal" and they have NO reserves~they print money out of thin air that has no backing. Read: The Creature From Jekyl Island

  • either the guy in the background has adhd, autism or restless head syndrome. i could hardly focus on the great ron paul because that guys fat head kept distracting me

  • Is it just me or does it seem like someone put the people behind Paul into the video? Look at that guy, he looks like he is 1.5 times the size of Rep. Paul.

  • 6:01. Bernanke, 'if you're going to give the Federal Reserve power...if there's going to be moral hazard induced by that...'. LOL! The Fed is the very definition of moral hazard! Bernanke's words are like questioning the Mafia as a moral hazard! YT viewers: see several YT videos about the Federal Reserve's history; you'll see it as the one of the most dangerous criminal institutions in the world, hiding in plain sight. The IMF & World Bank are even worse! They make us slaves to debt.

  • @SIMKINETICS So I guess we should have let the economy collapse...do you even know why we created the Federal Reserve? Paul is a medical doctor and should not be commenting on economics, he thinks he has some authority because he read the road to serfdom! The Fed failed to prevent the recent recession because its longtime chairman, Greenspan, tried to implement his libertarian beliefs, beliefs he went on record to STATE THE THEY WERE WRONG.

  • @jstr888 The stated objective of the creation of the Fed was to regulate business cycles to prevent booms/busts. Ironically, Jekyll island players were behind such cycles, disingenuously suggesting the solution that merely codified their problematic practices! The Great Depression was a classic profit-generating scheme for a few benefactors of the Fed. Success of capitalism depends on some regulation to prevent monopolistic practices that wipe away competition that is so essential for it.

  • RON PAUL!!!! FOR MY CHILDRENS SAKE RUN AND WIN IN 2012!!!

  • WTF is up with the Rain Man behind Paul? And more importantly...who is the babe?!!

  • In high school or any school this guy would have been ushered out . To let someone sit in Congress and cause such distraction is rediculous, He was not listening or concerned. This was unfair to tax payers and our country. Wake up America!

  • Americans have to face the fact that we are under seige and the perps are not going to stop until they literally make us and the world slaves. There are many of us out here in everyday America that are not sleeping on these demons and their plot to rule the world. President Obama's refusal to investigate 9/11/01 was the kicker for me. I came to the conclusion that he is too afraid or he is part of the deception. A Ron Paul & Jesse Ventura ticket would win hands down.

  • LMFAO!!! That poor women next to that man who apparently has a condition.... Look at her face sometimes she looks worried and she can't stop looking at him out of the corner of her eye.

  • Bernanke looks like he's smoking some good herb, I've seen eyes like that b4

  • This dude behind him can`t stop from morphing back into Reptillian ;D

  • You have to admit, the guy behind Ron Paul is VERY distracting, so much in fact that I see no other option than to call it for what it it. He's there to DISTRACT people from listening to Ron's Speech which anyone has to unfortunately admit he does quite well. Make sure to Listen to what is said here by Ron regardless of the distraction tactic

  • @BigPhallus4u Those were my first thoughts I had and the same resulting conclusion as I watched this video - great call.

  • Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura have been in trenches for a minute (long time) and from what I have seen thus far they refuse to be bought. I know that they have been approached by corporations and elitist like the Koch Brothers and they still haven't sold out. What does that tell us. Americans of all races, cultures, and religions have been paying attention to these cats and I think they need to know that we will back them. Maybe they might take me up on running together. What do you think?

  • @nubonyx I've been saying that since 08......we need ron paul because he is extremely smart about the financial situation and for his constitutionalist views and Jesse Ventura for his common sense approach to politics. Ron Paul/Jesse Ventura 2012

  • Bernanke knows Paul will grill him whenever he gets a chance to speak, yet he can't even come up with a decent set of talking points to debate him. Thats because what the Fed does makes NO SENSE. End the Fed. Ron Paul 2012.

  • Paul: Is the Pope Catholic?

Bernanke: errrr....well....I agree with you he can at times be Catholic....errrr....I can't be certain......errrrr.... I don't know anything.....errr....

  • I imagine this is Bernanke's least favourite part of his job.

  • @bryanthcin Woman to the right is also wondering that

  • @bryanthcin haha losing his mind most likely. He is on capital hill.

  • @bryanthcin I think the guy behind him just ate gulf of Mexico shrimp and suffered brain damage. Actually, I think he is deliberately there as a distraction for anyone who wants to watch a video of RP speak.

  • @bryanthcin lmao

  • @bryanthcin The girl is looking at him with fear like wtf

  • @bryanthcin that guy smoked a whole lot of crack the night before

  • @bryanthcin i think hes retarded.

  • @bryanthcin HE IS FUNNY! CHECK OUT THE GIRL NEXT HIM! SHE IS TRYING TO FIGURE HIM OUT TOO!!

  • @bryanthcin trying to stay wake! haha some people tend to do that so they won't doze off

  • @bryanthcin He's freaking the hell out of that girl.

  • @bryanthcin It is the corporate controlled media trying to control the viewers mind.

  • @bryanthcin He may have a tooth problem ... grabs his face .. moves around due to pain maybe

  • @bryanthcin i told you he has a tooth ache

  • ugggghhhhh. they post this crap cuz bernanke actually said he agreed with ron paul. but in bernanke's head he is thinking... do i really have to answer this nutcase!! ron paul is a moron. he is a follower and nothing more,

  • @littlebigefan what are you taking about? hes a follower?

  • @littlebigefan There all nut cases including yourself..

  • @littlebigefan U DOUCHEBAG........") EAT THE RICH!

  • good point.. is he a Senator? I wouldn't doubt it.

  • Bernanke is a liar... federal reserve was created to give the banking cartel to power to control the supply of money..

  • I'll bet the rest of the comittee is sitting there with their mouths open wondering what the hell that Paul is talking about. Bunch of dumb asses!!

  • whats up with that crazy dude behind Ron? Someone needs to shake him up.

  • over 2 years and they're still testing if the interest rates should be very low.

  • @stonescourt3 I'm not following the chronology of the state of global economy (coz I know it's there only to exploit) but I bet a lot of people have gone poorer in that time to continue feeding the greedy SOBs amongst us. Go the world dictators, you sure know how to fukc everyone over

  • That man behind Ron Paul, has some kind of disability... Poor guy...

  • It's amazing how much of this has come to pass... such a shame.

  • the coked out cia plant behind him was checking dat bitch out

  • the dude behind mr. paul is sloth from the goonies! baby ruth!

  • None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.

    Goethe

  • @Grafpsychofarmaca The dude behind Ron Paul? He has "my head is jacked up" syndrome. It comes from listening to Democrats and Republicans for too long. I am sure if Mr. Paul got to talk longer and had the ability to debate the Dems/Reps while running for office, this poor mans symptoms would settle down...

  • Those that Ron are addressing do not care. They do not care. They are lost, confused and are not willing to pay the price to get re-aligned.

  • Thats been the feds excuse since 1913.. "oh well people make mistakes.. so we have set up a mandate to ensure good judgment and we are working diligently to ensure we make the right decesions when dealing with interest rates"

fuck off bernenke you piece of shit.. go print more money to stuff in your pocket

i saw a video where ron even questioned him on that specifically and bernenke just ran in circles like a little bitch

    wake up america

  • @MrBitchesnHose All right here, you seriously don't know what's going on in the economy. The economy now is much different than the economy in 1913. The financial markets now are more complex than ever, you cannot simply say that the Fed's been using the same excuse. Second, printing money is a perfect way to help the economy grow. Go read an economics textbook and understand money's role in increasing output. The whole reason why Greece is in so much shit is b/c it can't print it's own money.

  • @benmacdaddy1003 - Do you really think bernenke etc are really concerned about the national debt or the value of our currency? No.. the crisis will fall onto the american people. We must sacrifice things.. (esp shit we dont need.. oh and there is indeed a whackload of whit we dont need) not just print money and say "hey check it out.. problem solved"

  • The guy in the background is there for a reason, purely to distract people from listening to RP making perfect sense.

  • Ron Paul's an idiot. Seriously, he's got to understand that regulation is needed in certain places by the government. People should regulate government and the government should regulate markets too! Think about the financial system. It was the lack of regulation that caused it's collapse. All his philosophical bs is taking it too far. He's just got to know his basic economics.

Also, the business cycle is inevitable, but the fed can certainly exert its monetary ability to smooth it down.

  • @benmacdaddy1003 - what the fuck are you talking about.. ron paul knows his economics, hes been studying it for decades. Its the lack of GOOD regulation that causes the finacial collaps. Thats why we need the market to do it rather than a central bank that goes by assumptions rather than facts. They are not smoothing anything down.. they just do enough to keep the system going and gradually destroy the value of our currency.

  • @MrBitchesnHose First, Ron Paul doesn't know his economics, he's a bloody doctor by training. It's a real shame that the Fed chairman has to listen to quibbles from untrained, over-politicizing politicians. Let Bernanke do his job, he's already got the economy back to working order and he ought to be applauded for his effort in restoring credit the economy. If you let regulation be run by the market, we would be in a worse position right now. You should be thankful Bernanke is in charge.

  • @benmacdaddy1003 - you don't understand what capitalism is supposed to be. i am by no means an expert on economics but i know for a fact that printing more money out of nowhere just because we are in shit will do no good in the long run. Sure it will keep the system going for a while longer because the printed money pays but the dollar is going down if we don't change this monetary policy.

  • @benmacdaddy1003 how does devalueing the dollar by printing out more money i.e. making that one dollar worth less then the gold it is supposed to be backed by. help an economy it's seting your self up to fail. what they have done is polished a pile of shit sure it looks good now but it's still a stinky nasty pile of shit

  • @benmacdaddy1003 WHAT!?! Are you bloody freaking kidding me??? Please tell us all you're not American saying this uneducated crap.

That is the MOST errant, blind statement I've ever seen on the Internet. It amazes me that some people are still this blind to what is going on in the United States and then we'll wonder how we got here.

No wonder people worldwide say the USA is the dumbest country on earth. Wake the hell up and do some research. You've just made a complete fool of yourself.

  • @MrBitchesnHose Can you believe this benmacdaddy person saying this crap!?!?

I refuse to believe people are STILL this friggin blind in the United States. I honestly hope he lives somewhere far, far away!!!

  • @OneSteveUnderGod - lol it is highly unfortunate.. im not even american and i value your country more than soooo many so called americans :)

  • @MrBitchesnHose Most of the world has a maligned view of America because they base their opinions on media propaganda and the fact that our government has led others to believe its citizens hold the same corrupt values and we don't. We are NOT our government. They coin us dumb because we are the ones who elect these crooks. What they fail to realize is that we know they're corrupt but who do you elect when they're ALL corrupt? We know they lie but what to do???

    I fear for my country.

    Peace

  • @OneSteveUnderGod

leadership will always reflect the values of the people.. you deserve the leaders you have because you let it happen.. in 2012 when you go into the voting booth.. and you see that ron paul's name isnt there.. just leave. :)

  • @MrBitchesnHose Leadership will most certainly not always reflect the values of the people. Government is a separate entity with its own hidden agenda. And news flash, your government has issues too. It's easy for people in other countries to sit outside the bubble pointing fingers under the assumption that they're better off. This let's everyone know that they're living blindly amid their own deception. You need to start looking into your own government and focusing on your issues, lol.

  • @OneSteveUnderGod - news flash my government is basically hopeless.. i live in canada.. i follow the american politics much more because im a libertarian and the only real hope for my position is ron paul. Yes the government is a seperate entity with its own agenda but its not like the people aren't responsible for supporting it. Many people diapprove of the federal gov but it is evidently not enough.

  • @OneSteveUnderGod - (to stray from politics for a second) when the people (at large) learn to love.. as will the government

  • @MrBitchesnHose Exactly, on election day, gather as many people as you can in a place where they can't vote. Count those people, compare to the official figures for total number of votes and number of people who didn't vote, then start causing trouble :) RP seems genuine enough. None of the other faggets in government have dared saying these things. He's definitely taking the black sheep position

  • @OneSteveUnderGod The biggest asset we all have, being unhappy with the way the system has been run up til now, is the power of not buying, and the power not to vote. Try and convince people to protest instead of voting for dimwits, convince the same people to stop buying things owned by major corporations (harder and harder to do now. thank globalization). Don't buy new cars, don't buy a new computer etc etc

  • @papapetad That's a good point. Unfortunately the U.S. has been an errant buying nation for far too long, but I don't fault the citizens because if it's available and we've slowly integrated a way of life then why not buy as a means of rewarding a working lifestyle. We have however certainly gone over the top, but most of us weren't aware that buying was detrimental to long term economic security. Bottom line: We've been sold out by the government who have spent us into a crisis, and now we pay.

  • @papapetad ive been saying that for awhile now...buy from others in the community and barter where necessary. most of the manufactured good are subpar quality from china anyway.

  • @benmacdaddy1003 - This is unbelievable. These corporate fucks have nothing to do with the consumer voting confidence of the people and yet they basically own the market place. Where is my free, capitalist and democratic country?

  • I've found the missing link! He's behind Bernanke at 5:40. Problem of evolution solved. Not the problem of the fed, but hey - one thing at a time.

  • Who is this spaz with the glasses behind Dr. Paul?

  • the two in the back are plants to distract you.....

  • Was it "bring a retarded friend to work" day or something?

  • the wierd guy behind him with the glasses creeps me out. seems the girl next to him is creeped too. go ron paul!

  • so u ppl who gave this thumbs down must be rich and do not care about big brother running us into the ground because you must be rich and like the way things are while your civil liberties are drained from u. Or your so in love with obama you cant see it.

  • the guy in the looks like a super hero.

    Ron Paul for Prez

  • When most people hear the word Fascism, swastikas immediately come to mind. However this is Nazism - fascism is usually not so blatant.

A good analogy of fascism is that it is the aspect of religion that most of us find so repugnant. For example, the fire and brimstone fanaticism of the US Bible belt or the barbaric Sharia Law of the Taliban.

In most secular circles these days the word religion has now become an euphemism for the sanctimoniously corrupt.

  • The guy in glasses seems to be completely drunk.

  • Fake Gold Bars in Fort Knox

  • that guy in the glasses is the reason why i love my life. i think that blonde wants to suck him off. ron paul for dictator of the world. all shall tremble in front of his rath.

  • that bald guy is the shisnit and that girl i think has a crush on him. Ron Paul should be the dictator of the world.

  • hahaha, I likes his closing comment, bernanke and ron paul are both very intelligent. If only they could see that the best solution may not be at the two extremes but perhaps somewhere in the middle.

  • @Nikrou I agree, but I dont see Bernanke's ideas as being extreme at all, and while I like Ron Paul in comparison to Republicans (kind of like being the skinniest kid at fat camp), I think his ideas are pretty bad at times. He says in this video that he wants the market to dictate interest rates, but he has said before that he wants congress to have control over the fed, meaning congress dictates the interest rates.

  • I am pretty sure he wants the fed gone, perhaps having control over the fed is just a step for him towards that goal. I do think that what he says has merit in respect to low interest rates that caused the resent melt down and the "malinvestment" as ive recently found the austrian economist say. Any academic economics journal ive looked at puts the blame on the fed for "lose monetary policy for too long" so perhaps its better to leave the interest rates to the invisible hand of the market.

  • Un-fucking-believable.

Over 2,100 comments and a huge chunk are people wondering who is the man waving his grumpy face around behind Dr. Paul, alas, not a single response. Why? Because junior high school students are using this comment section to exhibit their profundity.

Guys, you have a bright future. Please give the prolixity a rest and look up the word prolix.

Scroll down the comment section. I'm not the only one legitimately curious as to the face-wagging man's deal. What's his story?

  • He needed to go to toilet for a long time. . . so he is dealing with the stress on his bladder by wagging his head :D

  • jeez. id eat a steaming pile of shit to square off with that faggot piece of shit bernanke

  • who is that retard sitting behind Ron Paul, shaking his head left and right all the time?

  • hahaha

    i laughed.

  • Ron Paul's right, central economic planning doesn't work. Our government steals so much from us with hidden taxation - it's criminal.

  • @Xiepie - You're arguing FOR communism on youtube? You guys are funny lol.

Now, do either of you know who the man in the upper left corner is?

  • Can someone please tell me who is the man in the upper left corner of the screen?

  • The guy in the back looks like he's tweakin'

  • You have to assume that he has some kind of 'condition.' That aside, that guy is bugging out and, I'm sorry, discrediting what Ron Paul is saying.

  • ron paul 2012, save the republic! the only thing the government should be doing is protecting the people and their freedoms, not protecting and profiting for corporations.

  • Comment removed

  • Whats wrong with the dude behind ron paul?

  • the guy in the back looks like sean hannity's father.
