ive never heard this guy before ive never heard the chromatic played with such precision and acuracy those scales he plays especially towards the end of the piece is amazing. i struggle to produce the clarity he does when try to play. i truly respect this man bravo.
how old is this recording, the piano sounds very old style if that makes sense. Personally I love pianos like that, but modern piano concerts seem always to sounds much softer and less chorussy than olser ones.

However, when I listened about an hour ago, there was a problem with the synchronization; one would see him doing one thing while hearing another, leading me to think there might have been a second line. (I'm a very analytic listener to harmonica playing.) However, on replaying, I see that this was not the case; it was a Youtube problem, apparently. Ausserordentliches Mundharmonikaspiel!

I must be HONEST with me and all the others: FRANZ CHMEL is THE BEST HARMONICA PLAYER OF THE WORLD! It's impossible ANY DOUBT. This will be ENVY (very negative). Hello Franz, I like your playing, could you tell me how you achive your vibrato, are you playing using tongue or are you playing lipping? when you do the vibrato are you bending the note a little?...any tips please ......thanks Mark.

I respect your detailed/careful observation. Yes, sometimes I also get transmission problems. Ich bin mit Ihnen 100% auf seiner Leistung.
By the way cosidering this video was taken 14 years ago in a dark environment, don't you agree that Ckomopox6 is a great photographer?.
