The Mustang doesn't need lights, They remove the headlamps in Alabama since the teachers are too busy eating raccoon's & squirrels to inspect the car. Instead of keeping the car on the ground with a stiff suspension they bounce the Mustang & hope it doesn't flip to give it a bouncy (whoopy) feel. Air to cool parts of the engine sir.

A cage isn't going to make a difference even in the Cobras case. The car is all over the place. The only thing it will do is keep the driver from being crushed in a wreck.  It's a waste of time for them but don't tell them that because Billy will get pissed at his country & join the confederacy.

I was testing the 2step at 20 seconds with the clutch in. Halfshaft broke on the line

Stock halfshafts... what the spec stage 5 have to do with snapping the IRS? What all suspension mods did you have on the car? Did you have that hard launch kit, IRS brace, and those IRS bushings? I was wondering if that may have helped. Thanks bro, car still flies!

Stage 5 hits the drivetrain hard. Had hbh adjustable shocks and irs brace. Ran two years on the stock shafts with a spec 3+

a built 8.8 with a spool will hold up to a ton of power. I heard 4.10's are great for those 4 valve motors.

shit i didnt want that 2 happe to my Cobra thats why i got rid on my IRS, i got a rear Dif from my old car 02 GT. Im thinking of putting 3.83 or 3.90 gears.. Anything you guys recommend?

3.73 is a good gear. They don't make a 3.83 for a 8.8. I have 3.89's in my 9"

What /where are you getting 9" from? I was looking into either the level 5 half shafts or a rear out of a mach or something but they are still 8.8... I figured Id be good with some beefed up axles but a 9 would do it, Are you going to beef up the tranny at all?
