  • I'm going to try making this for the first time tonight. But I accidentally bought dried lily blossoms instead of banana blossoms - I'll see how it works. Salamat!

  • I would rather put all the ingrdients at the same time including the pata and let it cook well. I don;t see much difference in taste when putting the ingredients one by one...just like how you do it.

  • i arrived here at singapore last August..and just learned how to cook. i find it very easy just watching to panlasang pinoy recipies..I don't know how to cook when i was in the Phil. and so upset when i came to realize that I must cook for my husband because were just married last year. I surely cook for him when i come back to Philippines for my vacation.. Thanks to panlasang pinoy.. Im still learning!!!but definitely not stopping to learn more..

  • kuya, just wanted to inform you na you have been a great help to me.... i'm currently in dubai and it's my first time to be cooking for myself. i've tried a number of your dishes and they were all successful. i've tried buttered garlic chicken, spaghetti, lechon kawali to name a few. salmat po... pls continue making great dishes in simple ways....

  • All Filipino Chefs should start removing the bones on the meat when they cook. It would be well appreciated.

  • @icecoolking100 Although for most dishes, the bone is taken out, it would take away the "Filipino essence" out of THIS dish if the bone was taken out of the pork plank.

  • @icecoolking100 hmmm im not an expert but i know that pork/beef/chicken bone has marrow adds taste to the dish...yup the 'essence' or whatever. u could even make a soup out of boiled bones.. and it's healthy w/ protein and iron. ...so yeah whatever lol!

  • @10xrockiztah kabayan, inggit lang iyan... ipagligo mo ng limang beses baka mawala sa katawan mo. yung accent, hindi arte yan, natural na lumalabas yan kapag naninirahan ka na sa labas ng pinas. halata tuloy na hindi ka pa nakakalabas ng bansa natin. hayaan mo, sa tamang panahon at tamang ugali, makakalabas ka din. magbago ka na, at nakakahiya ka... huwag mo nang dagdagan pa ang kahihiyan ng mga pinoy sa labas ng pinas. kung kaya mo gawin ito, sige post mo din...

  • may mga Pilipino talagang ganyan hindi nasisiyahan. Magpasalamat na lang sana kayo dahil may isang PINOY na hindi naman talagang cook e binabahagi yung kanyang kaalaman sa pagluluto o mga recipe na kinasasabikan natin sa ibang bansa. Yung mga hindi marunong magluto o limitado ang alam dito natututo, kaya sana magpasalamat tayo kaysa mangutsa ng tao. Tandaan nyo libre lang ito. Mabuhay ka kaibigan.

  • I appreciate what you're doing, bro. But one comment... Don't take this the wrong way, but I can tell you're not a native Tagalog speaker. (Or you were taken from the Philippines too soon?) Props to you if you're not a native Tagalog speaker and you're simply doing your best with it on these videos. But honestly, your accent is cloying. For a native Tagalog speaker like me, I get tired of hearing you talk real easily. But great dishes, man! Keep 'em coming!

  • Kahit anong karne puedeng e substitute sa pork, nasa sa yo yan. purpose nang pusong saging, para di masyadong umasim. suggestion lang, bago lutuin ang pata dapat pakulu-an muna nang 20-30 minutes. pagkatapos itapon ang tubig at lagyan nang panibagong tubig kasama na ang mga sangkap, sa ganitong paraan di masyadong mangamoy ang pata. pag bumili ka kasi nang pata, minsan di alam nang nag-bibenta kung pata sa likod o sa harap. mapanghi kasi pag pata sa likod. salamat po.
