  • english please?

  • @powerofthroughts Those 90 km are for low observable 4 th gen targets such as F-18E/F, Eurofigther and MiG-35.

If the Irbis-e can detect 0,01 m2 at 90 km, and the RCS of the F-22 is 0,0002 m2 there is no way that it could be found at 90 km...

  • @JVC7400 The percieved size depends on angles and frequencies, the numbers most cited are head-on - even a slight deviation will cause an increase. In the case of fighters we're usually talking about the X band (2-12Ghz) in order to be effective against high resolution tracking. However, there are ways around this. Stealth aircraft aren't invisible, just harder to see at any given distance. With the proper tools, you can even it out quite well.

  • "blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah." Translation: "God I hope I never have to try to fight an F-22 Raptor..."

  • @ndileonardo ya they have su-47s for that

  • fighter jets these days are the closest things to giant military robots in sci fi films

  • GOT TO LOVE THAT RUSSIAN ENGINEERING! ( Mouth Waters )

  • 1:58 OMG!!!!

  • Truly Amazing

  • amazing plane and an amazing pilot

  • It's called Thrust Vectoring I believe. It's the whole point of excitement around the F-22 raptor from the USAF. Not sure who implemented thrust vectoring first... USAF or RAF. Saw the Raptor perform the same maneuvers at the Chicago Airshow this summer.

It is truely impressive to watch.

  • I think the first Thrust Vectoring plane was made by NASA.

  • Americans and British did it first in the AV-8B Harrier "Jump Jets."

  • @ndileonardo actually it was a french idea but developed by the british, all the americans did was avionics and aerodynamic upgrades

  • i am a huge fan of the su-37. it is an amazing aircraft- looks amazing performs amazing also..but maneuverability is not the most important thing in an airplane-its is so rare nowadays to encounter a dogfight situation as was in ww2 ..now its all about who has the best radar that picks up the enemy from 180miles, and who has the better missile with greater speed- range- and maneuverability..of course its important to have a very maneuverable plane-but radar and weapons i think are more important

  • just remember: emp. electro - magnetic pulse...and we are back to good, old, ww2 dogfight... figure who will win it...

  • Well the computer systems are protected so the EMP has little to no effect on it.

  • Words can't say enough right now. It's just so impressive.

  • awesome video

  • the prop plane?

  • definately an intimidating aircraft, su-27 on steroids
