being a woman in her position she clearly can't handle a project of this magnitude..otherwise they would have gotten this project done it has so much support. she's afraid of the traffic but thats neither a concern because extra roadways were going to be built to accommodate the traffic. itsa hempsteads' way of stalling to the point where the project never happens ..you can't send a woman to make a man's decision. in the history of town supervisor this is the first woman and the biggest mistake.

Your needed once again!! On 9-22 the TOH has scheduled the rezoning hearing. This is the time when you come out and say weather or not you think this is a good project. It is taking place at the same place as the public hearing. The Adams Playhouse at Hofstra. There are 3 sessions from 9:30 til 1, 2-5, and 6-9. Come out and show your face and let your voice be heard. And finally "Just Build It"!!

Lighthouse supporters, we need you. The long awaited public hearing has been scheduled by the Town of Hempstead, and Tuesday, August 4, 2009 is the day we've all been waiting for. The meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. at the John Cranston Adams Playhouse on the campus of Hofstra University.

The public hearing is the time you need to let your voice be heard. Please make an effort to be a part of history in the making. Bring your friends and family and show your support for L.I.'s future.

Yeah, the Coliseum is a dump...

even I'm excited about this! My family is from Long Island (even though I dont live there) and they went to the Coliseum all the time. They told me about how much it sucked and then I went and it was worse than I ever imagined!

We got a new Yankee Stadium, a new Mets Stadium, a new Giants/Jets stadium, they're renovating the Garden, the Nets are coming, These exciting times!

The area around the coliseum needs to be developed and this will be so great for the Islanders and everyone on Long Island. I cannot wait until construction begins on this. Hopefully its EXTREMELY soon!!

Let's go Islanders! Hopefully the Town of Hempstead and the County will get the environmental issues and the political crap through as soon as possible. This has the potential to be a real econimic boom to the Island, and will increase the value of my favorite team. As much as I love the Crown Jewel, it needs an upgrade desperately.
