I can't believe how they can still be alive!! Honestly, if I ever meet them I'd gladly put them out of their misery ... traitors, that's what they are. They were Gothics (or, how we called us in Germany in the 80s, Grufties.or Wavers..) and now they are just plain shit. HP Baxxter, HA! Hans-Peter is his real name. Not so cool...just as shitty as his accent and their - ahem - "music". Makes me feel kinda ashamed to share a country and my mother tongue with them, it sure does *puke*

the scooter version of this song is much better than the sisters of mercy's version, more power, its more flowing, has greater meaning, in the sisters version he is just mubbling. and scooters not chav wank thank you very much, chavs like MC's and rap, hip hop ect, this is hardcore, and is generally more along the lines of the dance scene, so...has no links to chavs, just more the townies of the 90's.

I never thought I'd like a Scooter track. I've always dismissed them as brainlessly cheesy chav wank and, while that's largely true, as a Sisters Of Mercy fan for 28 years, I have to say this isn't half bad, more like Northern Lite or Covenant. I still think Scooter generally symbolise the very worst in lowest common denominator electro but this - and their stab at Sex Dwarf - is coolish. I bet Eldritch is grinning!

For your information, a lot of ravers don't seem to like this track 'cos it's way too sophisticated for them.

Scooter is just an average techno band but this cover is really good. A lot better than some of the goth covers of The Sisters' songs I've heard.

WOW! SCOOTER tackling THE SISTERS OF MERCY. I don't think that anyone can ever improve on the original song but this is not bad. I like the vocals - nice and dark! I just wish the music was more EBM than Eurodance, but still... it's a pretty good cover. Too bad that most goths and hardcore SCOOTER fans won't appreciate it...
