All these "pros" suck. Getting that orbital command FIRST I totally disagree with. Loading 5 SCVs, landing the CC and then upgrading to OC seems like a lot more income to me. Not to mention these guys are never taking control of any of the watch towers... Those towers are KEY, all it takes is 1 zergling, 1 rine, 1 scv... Give me a break.

@sshiftyp well thats a good point I suppose. But it could also be debated that instead of wasting the time it takes to build an OC and then lift it into the expansion position, you could first land the regular CC there, transfer TONS of SCVs and mine the entire time you upgrade the OC....

CC' are better than Orbital Commands in the beginning because the CC's provide detection/Scouting and Mules. OC are bettter during late mid/late game (if there still are expansions.) because of protection.

@basicpassword I think you are confusing the terms.CC refers to basic command center, which cannot do anything except load 5 SCVs. OC refers to Orbital Command which can do the mules and detection (and supply drops). Planetary Fortress is the defensive stationary structure. My original post has nothing to do with the PF, its why the pros upg. to OC before landing at their expansion. It really makes no difference either way they do it except they can start mining faster by moving it first imo.
