Remember Betsy McCaughey? She was on the Daily Show the day before she was fired. She was a representative of the Anti-Health reform which was mainly funded by the companies themselves. The interview Jon gave was one of the bests of the year.

Jon goes on Crossfire before it gets scrapped, and is in fact the main influence on why.

There have actually been attempts at conservative comedy shows, but they suck. Sorry, but they all lack the same flair that make the Daily Show and Colbert Report great. Which is subtlety (See Half Hour News Hour on Fox, which was canceled. Also a ripoff of another series, which also sucked, and was liberal).

Oh yeah, he does hit hard against democrats when they do not adhere to the ideology they represent. Denial means you don't watch it that often.

Anyways, I'll try again. Conservative comedy shows don't work, and there have been many attempts (To which only one or two have reached TV, but only temporarily due to low viewership). Jon does crap on democrats when needed, but considering the democratic party doesn't do something stupid unless it's a right-wing democrat (Dixiecrat), it's rare.

But because it has been taking so long, and people have no patience, it has harmed his popularity. People aren't always very bright.
