  • Rusty but trusty.

  • i found my dreamcar.i love the look of it!thats a real car for real man :D how much would it cost?

  • @unairadm Glad you liked it! I'm probably not going to sell this car; I've wanted one since I was a kid! Besides, it's a long way from being roadworthy...

  • Should have gone with a 68 camaro 4-on the-floor. Als pls dont paint it "christine" red. do a silver one (My sugestion)

  • I love this video, I love this car. I'd drive that thing proudly every day as is

  • @SpooksHill Thanks! I would also love to drive it the way it is, but it would need some brakes first (and maybe a bit more floor).

  • After seen this video I made a folish thing , I send my ford station wagon 1975 to the scrap metal, and was running, I made a big mistake, and was in better shape than this Plymouth.

  • Cool I have a 56 Savoy 2dr hardtop. maybe a future slide show on my channel?

  • gasoline IV saline takes me away...

  • You guys amaze me! Love the gasoline IV..

  • Glucose bag hanging from the antenna? Dude, you are hilarious! Respect.

  • Man, you have my respect. Great video thanks for the upload, you earned yourself another suscriber here can't wait to see what you come up with! im going to watch your other video's too :D

  • I love the i.v. drip 2 liter bottle taped to the antenna! Can't kill an old Mopar!!

  • Look! It's on an I.V. ! Great stuff...

  • Who needs a fuel gauge when you can see how much fuel you have?

  • Would make a perfect "Raggarbil" in Sweden !!!!

  • Now that is amazing o.O reminds me of the Seasick Steve Song "Big Green and Yeller"

  • Christine's redneck brother.

  • classic music for a classic car :)

  • GREAT JOB! MUCH LIKE TO SEE THIS CAR RESTORED! And the soundtrack is beautiful!

  • ugh! cut the music!

  • what was the wagon in the vdeo

  • @canadiancatgreen Its a 1979 Volvo 245.

  • @coldwarmotors I thought it was a Volvo thank you

  • man, i thot i had seen some resurrections, but you took (scrap)metal and turned it back into a car!!! 2 thumbs up!!! excellent work!

  • @remotecontrolhorror Thanks! It was the very best restoration I could do in two days with no money.

  • Great job. I enjoyed the video, Thanks.

  • wow man, nice job considering what was left of it, i love the "IV Style gas bottle, too cool

  • I've only just found your vids, Respect to you for bringing back something so far gone! subscribing right now

  • @mrspivvy Thanks a lot! I am a sucker for punishment, I guess...

  • The music is PERFECT for the subject. Keep it!

  • @FarginBastiges Thanks! It seems we are in the minority on this issue, though...

  • @coldwarmotors Gee, I said I liked your video. I don't know what your problem is.

  • the car is cool but the music made me wana watch rebbeca black's friday

  • The IV bottle is great, the reabilitation of the patient. All she needs is a gown thats open in the back. Thats a big project. Im surprised the 4 door Regent frame and the 2 door Savoy married so well together.I would have thought the Regent would have had a longer frame.

  • @Statimtek Actually, the two cars share the same frame, because the Regent is basically just a Plymouth with a Dodge front clip. All the sedans and coupes shared the same wheelbase, just not the wagons. I don't know if an American Dodge would have worked. I think the frame is longer.

  • @coldwarmotors Nice job anyways. Glad to see the old girl running again. Are you going tor restore her?

  • @Statimtek I will probably restore it eventually. First, I'd like to get it roadworthy and drive it as it is.

  • Love the IV bottle...

  • Love the Video's but enough with the music. Please I want to hear whats going on.

  • @cudaphil Hi! Thanks for the input. The newer vids are done without music, as per requests. The "Live Sounds of Dead Cars" video has lots of this footage with original engine sounds instead of music. More to come... Thanks for watching!

  • really nice job, but hearing it start up would have been worth a lot..

  • Ofcourse it would run ^.^ You just need to awake up christine :D

  • @EmmetLBrown88 yep, i'm sure Christine finished the rest of the work herself after she was put back into the garage for the evening! xD

  • Well done!

  • @caleb6868 Your grandpa was right. They are a good way to look at the people in the back seat.

  • looks good love em old mopars... i really liked the fuel bottle hanging from the antenna. reminds me of a hospital I.V. bottle. keep the old girl up and running

  • @krabb1970 Thanks, I will.

  • Looks like Christine with AIDS lol

  • Neat! I,ve got a 57 Plym. 2 door wagon. These old cars are worth the effort to get back on the road. Mine,s far from perfect , but I,ve put in a good eng/trans. I love the looks people give it. It,s on youtube in a couple of short vids. Good luck with your Mopars!!!

  • @68chargercrazy Thanks! Great wagon, too!

  • She's alive!! haha

  • Nice job! After all those years, it lives again.

Did you get the old engine running or replace it?

  • @uxwbill Hi, the engine, transmission and frame are from the 1957 Dodge in my other video. I kept the original engine and pushbutton auto from the 58. I'll probably rebuild them when I restore the car.

  • You are not turning it into a "Christine" are you? I know I would...! :)

  • @KapteinOpel I might just get it roadworthy and drive it the way it is. I like it all beat up with the truck wheels on it. Or a 60's style custom, black, lowered, metalflake...

  • @coldwarmotors I like that. I have a 1931 Nash I'm gonna restore, but I think I'll start out with just look over it and lube things, and do only necessary repairs. Cant be wrong. Btw, I was kinda lucky on this one, as its a fairly rare car, and the eccentric old carwrecker I bought it from(really!) seemed to be kinda after time... I saw a similar car(only that was a '29, '31s are much rarer..) in similar condition on ebay, asking price ten times as much, but that didnt have any engine...

  • wtf is that on the antenna? a fu***** i v to bring it back to life? hahahahahaha

  • @TheGateKeeper2012 Looks like a gas bottle. Probably doing the gravity thing cause the fuel tanks and fuel lines rot out pretty good on these old cars. Done it myself on these old cars to get them going

  • I"m surprised that you were able to get the front end looking so nice. The parts are rare &hard to find. Keep up the good work, & good luck.

  • @alloutoftime Thanks! I'll post more vids as I get it together. I also just bought another '57 hardtop, so lets see what we can do with that...

    Like I need more projects.

  • Sadly there was no pumping of the Gas Cam to watch...

  • my favorite part is the temporary gas tank on the antenna.

  • real good it make me realy happy to see that er some people save some old cars like this way to go

  • Thanks for your work. Way to go!

  • @SaveOldCars Thanks for checking it out! It was very satisfying to start the old Savoy and drive it for the first time in 40 years! Should really be something after another thousand hours of body work...

  • Man, you really brought this one back from the dead! Looks like apart from the damage the HT-body isn't rusted too bad? What are your further plans on her?

  • @AudioMobil Hi! The drivers side quarter isn't too bad, but the passenger side is worse. The floor is rusted, as are the rockers and the trunk floor. One fender is very good, the other is quite bad. Passenger door hit, but solid. Overall, repairable but needs everything. I'm going to store it inside with the other projects until the cars I'm working on are finished. Plans for a lowered, 60's style custom with a chrysler 300-type interior, hemi or x-ram 383, 4 speed, black with red metalflake...
