And It was folled you by fantastic bands like The Exploited, Subhumans, Social Distortion, Anti Flag, The Casualties, The Distilles, Rancid. But every time a punk band get really famous all the "Punks" that used to like them yell "Sell-out". And to me, that makes someone a poser.

@jino666able It doesn't matter how they sing (like "pop fags") It matters what they sing about. Like Green Day, for example, usually if not always sing about their political views. The sound isn't really what matters, maybe it does in Metal, Pop, Goth-rock, Funk, Ska, New Wave. But not in Punk. The meaning of the song is what matters, not the sound.

@Sora744 Dude Green day had more influences besides punk, Green Day have the same sound but played in a different ways. They started out straight forward Punk Rock, then Pop Punk, then Alternative. Offspring was kinda the same way. The Casualties stuck with Hardcore Punk just listen to there albums. So sound wise when it comes to genre Green Day come out overall as alternative rock, because of multiple influences and so on...
