In a way, I can understand some of your frustration because, I think, in many cases when that question is asked or when something like it is asked, the person who is asking it is usually attempting to get at something; an attempt to judge your (generally speaking) "blackness" or to confirm or deny their preceived notions about how "Black" or "Unblack" you are.
I think it's a question that is moslty used as a tool of measurement, to "measure ones Blackness," whatever Blackness is. I realize that this was a leading question. It was a loaded question.
When I wrote it, I sincerely wanted to know if you were or not or what you were attracted to in general. It doesn't REALLY matter. Once you tell me your answer (which you have) I may have thoughts about your choice of women or why you answered the way you did but, I don't intend to judge you for them because I don't know you.
