  • Michael Jackson was Great-ish for a while, Sonic 3 & knuckles "UNCENSORED" is also great.

Inside information is great. Everything else about what people THINK happened is the words of Butthurt faggots

  • @UTZUproductions

Michael Jackson was awesome for 40 years

  • @UTZUproductions Are you slow? suck my dick Rip king of pop.

  • You know the most awesome thing about this vid? That Qjimbo was able to admit where he was wrong in parts, that's a rare occurrence on the net and should be applauded.

  • Illuminati fucked Michael over enough said

  • this is silly - song structure? i dont even like mj

  • I think I heard that tune he used for "stranger in moscow" (the first basic melody) in some other stuff before he even used it in that song OR the game. That same key too. Instruments. Everything.

  • we all said back in the day that the music sounded like hip-hop and r & b (I couldn't originally figure out why the end theme of Sonic 3 sounded so familiar.... ) but to find out that everybody's credits were just plain taken out kinda makes me angry... I don't know... MJ probably wouldn't have wanted his name in the credits whether he contributed in the final version or not, 'cause he did that with a lot of projects.

  • My boyfriend knows nothing about music theory so he agreed with dude when he said that the snow board on sonic 3 was just like "Who Is It". Without even writing the chords out, I can hear it and tell that it's not that close, in fact, I would go as far as to say it wasn't even inspired by it.

  • RIP.MJ and Sonic

  • When I first played this game I always felt like they were copying MJ's style when I got to the Carnival Zone. I see you have recently changed your video to dismiss Icecap but I always felt it had something to do with MJ also. Never actually beat this game but seeing the ending confirms this.

Despite all the "Scandals" I always liked MJ and thought he had amazing music. Really a shame what happened.

  • the end credits really proved it to me, the game came out in 1991, stranger in moscow 1995, michael was really incredible. rip king! there will never be anyone as epic as you

  • @thekingofcinema1 Sonic 3 came out in 1994 and Stranger in Moscow actually came out in 1996 on his HIStory album.

  • @Jami393 oh my bad, well i mean the music was worked on in 1992, and the album HISTory came out in 1995..the single in 1996, either way. its very clear MJ worked on some tracks for SONIC 3

  • but wait ice cap sound like aqua song call candyman <---

  • honestly, the sonic & knuckles collection music sounds more like new jack swing than michael's tracks on the original sonic 3

  • if anything this video actually goes a long way toward refuting MJ's involvement, especially with the revised annotations. i mean did any of you idiots actually watch this?

  • @sympathy3k21 Yes we did watch it, did you? Brad Buxer CONFIRMED that MJ was involved with Sonic 3.

  • I noticed about "Launch Base Zone" that you can hear MJ's "Go" in some places! Thumbs up if you noticed it too!

  • Michael Jackson was epic!

  • I cannot simply believe that coming on this video I mean this video and still find assholes talking crap about MJ in the comment section What the fuck is wrong with you people. Stop the shit for crying out loud. If you do not know the facts then don't make yourselves look like asses and comment crap. This is about the Genius Michael Jackson was and still is not about the fucking crap that was put onto him deliberately. You got to start using your little fucked up brains and think outside the box

  • Just because of the allegations that were never true, sega had to erase michael's songs from the game? What a big loss for sega. And they never put him in the credits? Fu sega fu

  • @jancarlo01241997

No, no, no. Michael pulled himself out when he was dissapointed with the limited sound capabilities of the Mega Drive/Genesis, and his departure meant his name and his songs went with him. The allegations, though salt in the wound for Sega, had nothing to do with his self-dismissal, for his was his decision, not theirs.

  • @kyubihanyou it was the allegations

  • it has to have been michael because the ending in sonic 3 is stranger in moscow and stranger in moscow came AFTER sonic 3

  • (=0

  • Oh wow! I just knew that those tracks is something special. Epic,EPIC!!!

  • michael jackson rare that compose the music of Sonic 3 but still it's great that the king of pop has made the music of a great game ^ ^

SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH XD

  • O MY GOD!

  • Comment removed

  • I don't know if anyone already mentioned this but I heard a sample of "We are the World" in the ending music of Sonic 2 also

  • So should I credit MJ on my Sonic 3 remixes? :-P

  • @TechnoJon96

Collectively, it only applies to the ten tracks I mentioned in my highest-rated comment above.

Individually, the one track MJ has actively contributed was the S3 credits theme (with Brad Buxer). The exact specifics of the other nine are unknown, but I believe it was Buxer who ultimately arranged the tracks to be input on the Genesis in all cases, as he was MJ's usual arranger for his regular work at the time.

  • no wonder sonic changes colors when he turn into super sonic.

  • Everybody, go look up DJYuzoboy's Channel. He has tons of mash-ups with MJ and Sonic.

  • That and plus the kids had several facts about Michael that were proven wrong by the police

  • Sega confirmed this in the Sonic Collection on PS3.

  • Guys I found another one. Put marble garden and thriller together! They there is very little difference!!

  • @drumberboy1122 But it's not one of his tracks that was just another great mash up by Yuzoboy.

  • he just took thriller and marble garden and put them together. But it still sounds a lot like thriller.

  • Tinha músicas do Michael Jackson no Sonic 3? WOW

  • @jellybean784

On Scirocco's worklist it shows that while working for MJ he composed and arranged level cues for "levels 2 & 3" alongside Brad Buxer, most likely referring to HC and MG (which had to have been replaced considering the final versions)

Also, when it comes to MJ's regular work, Buxer = Arranger, piano and synth program, Ross = Synth, Brooks = Drums and engineering, Grace = Orchestrations and Grigsby = Drums and Bass, so they possibly worked with Buxer in arranging MJ's work for S3.

  • @jellybean784

The trick is knowing how much MJ actually contributed. While Buxer confirmed that he and MJ collaborated on the credits composition that would later become Stranger in Moscow, this might be the extent of what Jackson actively did. Otherwise he was most likely a coordinator for the rest of the tracks, which is exactly what Tokuhiko Uwabo did for the Sega Sound Team.

Search "Music Powers Cirocco" and click the first two results to see what Scirocco did and how he's connected to MJ

  • I think Dave Mustaine of Megadeth should have been asked to compose instead

  • @hylton7 Sonic shoes wern't based on MJ's dance shoes, it was his boots in the Bad video.

  • @Jami393

he still danced in those boots dude :P

  • @hylton7 Yes I know I'm a huge MJ fan but if he dance shoes I think it would be the ones from Billie Jean.

  • THEY SHOULD HAVE LET THE MAN DO HIS THING WITH THE SONIC FRANCHISE! THOSE LITTLE B!+CHES!

  • I know SEGA doesn't want to admit the truth, because they don't want to pay the MJ family years worth earnings off the music. Or there's something to do with a contract MJ and SEGA signed somewhere maybe allowing SEGA to use any and all his music regardless, or something regarding that nature no one can't talk about...yet

But to be fair, half of the music is done by the SEGA sound team, so you can't just say it's all MJ music. They should say MJ and the sound team did the music together.

  • @Chepito2846 Unfortunately, that was also around the same time Michael Jackson's bull**** molestation accusations first surfaced. And of course, SEGA wanted to distance themselves from MJ for a time.

In the end, SEGA claimed that his work was removed. Though seeing the strong similarities with much of Sonic 3's music and MJ tunes (Ice Cap Zone & Smooth Criminal for example), what they claim may be false. Or at least "some" of his tracks were replaced. Jones is said to have composed the tunes o

  • @Chepito2846 Michael Jackson & his team (including Jones) were brought in by SEGA to compose all the music for Sonic the Hedgehog 3, but according to MJ's partner Brad Buxer in 2009 (whom also worked on Sonic 3) said that MJ didn't like the limited sound output of the SEGA Genesis and found it fustrating. He thus didn't want his name on a product that devalued his music.

Though the deal broke down, Buxer did confirm that he & MJ did compose Sonic 3's ending theme (later used as a basis for Str

  • @gjtrue It's a shame that they never did a Mega CD port of Sonic 3 as a compromise for Michael then really.

But they did work together again on Space Channel 5 Part 2.

  • I Do Know That Sonic Red Shoes(Boots)Are Based Off Of MJ's Red Boots(Shoes)

  • now im more confused....can someone clarify me what really happened in 1993..cause now i heard Ciricco Jones(Sirricco) did the whole soundtrack for sonic 3..not michael jackson.can someone with more knowledge of this tell me and post back please, cause now im lost

  • One word - Yuzoboy. Check the sonic & MJ mixtape

  • ice cap zone >every other sonic song

  • Best games were sonic cd on mega cd and knuckles chaotix on megadrive 32x and both games have best soundtrack ever for sonic team games.

  • sonic 3 had the best music

  • Sonic and Knuckles > Sonic 1 > Sonic 2 > Sonic 3

In terms of soundtrack. Deal with it.

  • @myusername0wns Sonic & Knuckles = Sonic 1 >> Sonic 2 >>>>> Sonic 3

  • @MrRiddleCT

Ice cap zone had better music the all those games put together

  • @hylton7 Unless we put both Sonic CD soundtracks there. Musical bitchslap.

  • @MrRiddleCT

Sonic 3 > Sonic cd. Knuckles>Amy and Metal sonic. Sonic cd also had shit level design.

  • Sonic 1 & Sonic cd had the best soundtracks much better than sonic 3.

  • @sukhi2000

which sonic cd the american sound track or japanese?

  • @hylton7 japanese soundtrack of course.

  • The mj music are ok but sonic 3 are far better with better tunes and beats used, every song music you showed on your video non e of them better then qjimbo production,i prefer sega music far better.

  • People who keep saying Stranger in Moscow was released 2 years after Sonic 3... IT WASN'T! Stranger In Moscow was released in the HIStory album which was released in 1995.

  • @ThomasPercy99 You have contradicted yourself saying Stranger in Moscow was out in 1995 and also saying it was't two years later. Anyway he was working on that song during the Dangerous tour in 91/92.

  • My uncle gave me his Genesis. It finally died about 3 years ago. It made me very very sad :(

  • ATTENTION PEOPLE!

The tracks done by Michael Jackson, as proven by their replacement in S&KC:

Carnival Night 1+2, IceCap 1+2, Launch Base 1+2, Knuckles' Theme (S3), Act 1 Boss (S3), Competition Menu, and Credits (S3).

Buxer to Ross are MJ's colleagues for his regular music.

Therefore, MJ composed those 10 and Buxer more likely than not arranged those 10.

Any other tracks beyond those 10 are Sega-made and sny similarities are merely coincidental and not directly associated with MJ.

    Thank you

  • @kyubihanyou You are so right.

  • @kyubihanyou According to Cirocco's new comment, the entire team came out with music ideas.

"5 guys (me, Brad, Bobby, Darry, Geoff) spent what seemed like countless hours creating compositions with MJ... and then trying our best to technically balance what SEGA team wanted to create music for the sonic game. I was hired by Brad to come in to create different music cues and arrange on a lot of other ideas too. It was a long time ago... and was kinda challenging to say the least."

  • @kyubihanyou yeah i agree

  • @SonicFanDU I started after playing Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on Xbox 360! The pop & hip-hop feel (as well as the "Whoo!" & "Yeah!" in some of the tunes) just sound too similar to MJ's music!

Ice Cap Zone sound FAR to similar to "Smooth Criminal" & "Who Is It" to be a coincidence. Not to mention I think the "Whoo!" & "Yeah" vocals in the Act 1 Boss & Ice Cap Zone (Act 1) music in Sonic 3 is MJ himself!

  • @gjtrue You're right about IceCap but it's mainly Smooth Criminal.

  • "Ice Cap Zone" sounds VERY similar to Smooth Crimnal & Who Is It. Not to mention in the "Act 1 Boss" you can clearly hear "whoo!" & "yeah!" in the background! And lastly Knuckles' Theme just sounds like Michael Jackson's style & you can also hear "a certain someone" yelling "yeah" before the tune loops! :-)

  • Back in 2009, Brad Buxer said he & Michael Jackson used Sonic 3's ending theme as a basis for composing Stranger in Moscow. He also said some tunes he & MJ composed ARE IN THE GAME! Most likely the Act 1 Boss, Marble Garden, Carnival Night, Knuckles' Theme, Ice Cap, Launch Base, & Staff Credits songs.

  • Micheal Jackson was disappointed by the Sega Genesis' sound capabilities, and didn't want to release any of it by the end of the project.

  • The song Stranger came out 2 years after Sonic 3

  • Even the king if pop had an effect on video game music. Go MJ

  • Okay, now I'm just lost...

  • I'm venturing deeper in the comments, and I see paragraphs of arguments. How'd I get all the way over here?

  • Im skeptical. It could just be the fact the guy that worked for Sega just didn't like MJ and just spread the rumer, if it is linked I think it's more probable the composer just used his inspiration for Sonic 3 (so be it a risky one since they could be sued) maybe because they ran out of ideas or a tribute. This is just my personal view but I don't think this will ever be solved just because one guy claims to have been working with Sega ansd says thats how it was.

  • i actually played this during the credits, my brother thought i was doing a little mash

  • I also think that the levels attributed to Jackson have music that seems more repetitive? The written music is SLIGHTLY shorter than usual, but it's more the fact that the second-act 'remix' version is very very similar to the first version (Carnival Night's might be identical?), as these versions were presumably created very hurriedly. Two of the three tunes have clear ends when they loop, too, which we don't expect in Sonic.

  • I agree with MJ on not liking how his songs turned out in Sonic 3. They all sound so much better with actual instruments.

This kind of demonstrates why computer audio chips shouldn't be treated like emulations of real world instruments as they sound completely different. I'm not saying that computer chips are inferior though, just different (for example, listen to Last Ninja 2's Central Park from 1988!). Maybe MJ was not used to the sound difference.

Too bad he never got to work on Sonic CD =|

  • @MaverickLoneshark

First of all, they are real instruments being sampled in the FM chip itself. It's not blips and blops.

Second of all, some of Sonic 3's music sounds awful because of poor music composing and arranging, not because of the soundchip.

Third of all, MJ knew what sound hardware he was working with. He designed not only the Arcade version of Moonwalker but also the 1990 Mega Drive port. He also gave full approval of his popular songs being produced in YM2612 FM synthesis.

  • @Adam060756

    1. Yes, they are samples of the real instruments. But place a sample through limited hardware and what you get is an emulation. Listen to human voice samples and see how they stand against the originals. This is why I wish he could have gotten to work with Sega CD games instead (you know, the cd quality audio).

    2. Arrangement aside, many of the compositions in the video sounded like they were left pretty much intact. They made direct comparisons in the video.

    3. I agree with you.

  • @MaverickLoneshark It cannot be classified as emulation if it's the original sound recording doing the music like for example Sonic The Hedgehog, unless you're refering to something like Moonwalker which is emulating MJ's original tunes through FM synthesis. Some voice samples have shitty low-fidelity audio because the audio programmers either save memory space, have hardly any experience or do crap 5 minute jobs.

Moonwalker should've got a SEGA CD release with MJ's original music per level.

  • @Adam060756 My understanding was that the Sega Megadrive/Genesis lacked the capabilities to produce beyond a limited range of sounds, but what you say makes sense given the Sega CD's superior storage capabilities. However, if it was just a memory issue alone then the Sega CD would not have included an extra Ricoh RF5C164 chip to play wider ranges of sound.

I classified it as emulation because in most cases the Megadrive/Genesis alone could not reproduce the entire sound wave perfectly intact.

  • @MaverickLoneshark The whole point of the SEGA Mega CD add-on console was to add more information and storage space in SEGA's 16-bit video games, it was also another stabb from SEGA at winning the console war over Nintendo's Super NES. The Compact Disc format allowed such rom space where as the Cartridge format didn't as it was very limited. SEGA Mega CD's Ricoh RF5C164 was added for that very reason, more sound channels that could directly sample giving a total output of 18 sound channels.

  • @Adam060756 Wait, you might have a point. Did MJ create Sonic 3's music from scratch using Megadrive techonology BEFORE he converted to real instruments? If so, then I apologize for my assumption that he composed using physical instruments for the game instead of the reverse. This sounds like a "what came first?" problem.

  • @MaverickLoneshark All I know is that MJ DID NOT compose all of Sonic 3's soundtrack. Jun Senoue and Howard Drossin were also heavily involved, Angel Island for one has been confirmed to be a Senoue composition. I think most of the MJ tracks were done by Brad Buxer who was MJ's keyboardist. The MJ/ Buxer tracks in Sonic 3 are very noticable as they sound very repetitive and are missing the Sonic 3 drumkit. The Drossin/Senoue tracks always feature the Sonic 3 drumkit which plays in 75% of the OST

  • @Adam060756 Well yes, nobody even knew MJ did anything until people brought it up after he died. But honestly, I like Sonic 2's soundtrack better = )

  • @Adam060756

dude sega confrimed it in sonic ultimate genesis collection for PS3/Xbox360.

I know you don't like michael or his music style but too bad because sonic moonwalked in sonic colors

as a tribute to Michael Jackson and thats enough proof for me.GIVE UP.

  • @hylton7 Are you a simpleton who cannot read comments properly?

I was never denying MJ's involvement and I don't hate him or his music. You should get the facts straight first before replying to avoid looking like a dumbass. I've been saying in my comments that MJ wasn't the only music composer involved in Sonic 3 and any input he gave to the soundtrack was very little so don't get your underpants in a twist.

Fuck off and don't reply again unless you have something intelligent to say.

  • @Adam060756

    umad?

no need for name calling man were all sonic fans here :)

yeah, sorry for not understanding your comment but why do you think i'm happy about a pedo's work in my favorite video game series this news depressed me as well.

  • @hylton7 you know, take it from me, but there are certain people that get so much bullshit and quite frankly, these certain people get tired of the same ol' rubbish hence why they reply the way they do to you. Know what i;m sayin'?

  • @hylton7 With all due respect, Michael did NOT molest anyone. If you have any doubts about his innocence, I suggest that you read "Michael Jackson Conspiracy" by Aphrodite Jones. You will understand why everyone on the jury voted NOT GUILTY, and that he was clearly framed by a greedy, dysfunctional family with a long history of fraud. Please educate yourself before your slander an innocent man's name due to your own ignorance of the facts.

  • @TheEzekiel300 He just couldn't be a kid in young years so he was sort of a kid trapped in a man's body. So that made him like other kids in a friendly which made him seen as a pedophile which he wasn't.

  • @FrankSpijker yea! It is amazing when you look at the 2 famlies that framed him dark past! Their backgrounds were horrific! MJ wasn't the only only one the Arvisos falsely accused of child molestation!

  • @TheEzekiel300 Nobody was in the room, nobody but Michael Jackson knows if he touched a kid.... as for me, I only see the facts :

Fact 1: It's true every kid denied it.

Fact 2: One child was able to tell the jury how many spots were on his penis and where they were at...

  • @StolenLettuce I have 2 new videos uploaded on my channel! In the video I have the lawyers and surprisingly the media to back me up. Fact 1: Evan Chandler was caught on tape setting MJ up!Fact 2: All that stuff about the boy describing MJ's penis was made up lie from the racist media. Fact 3: Evan Chandler made his son draw MJ circumcised, but MJ wasn't circumcised

  • @TheEzekiel300 Actually it wasn't a lie. It was confirmed. :o the boy knew exactly how his penis looked... by every detail...

  • @StolenLettuce Actually it wasn't confirmed by the court transcripts. I read the court transcripts myself! The tabloid media told that lie that he described penis correctly. Evan Chandler had Jordy Chandler draw circumcised penis. Little did Evan Chandler know that MJ was uncircumcised. The Court transcripts tells it all.

  • @TheEzekiel300

But there is no doubt that he did have inappropriate relationships with children. That came straight out of his mouth.

  • @discoandherpes He didn't have inappropriate relationships. That racist tabloid medias opinion. Michael Jackson only did what the bible told him. Jesus always surrounded himself with children and Jesus even said "Unless you have faith as a child, you shall not enter the kingdom of God," "And God also said if you humble yourself like this child you are the greatest among me." And look how famous MJ got. He was the most famous person to ever live. Evan Chandler was caught on tape setting MJ up!

  • @TheEzekiel300

Having other people's children sleeping in your bed is inappropriate.

  • @discoandherpes Yea, but I don't blame MJ for that. MJ really did not know how serious that was. The thing is MJ didn't touch them. Jesus said bring on the children and Jesus did surround with children, so MJ just took that and ran with it. Evan Chandler lied on MJ. they even got him on tape setting MJ up! and the Arviso's admitted under oath that they lied on 2 innocent body guards. There was actually revelation 2 days before his death from God himself. So, MJ was not a child molester.

  • @discoandherpes They wanted to sleep in his bed, and MJ did not allow it until their parents said it was ok. MJ was naive sure, but his intentions were completely innocent. What's inappropriate is to falsely accuse a mega star of molestation for the sole purpose of taking his money. That's unethical, immoral, and criminal on the part of a bunch of scumbags who should be behind bars.

  • @hylton7 Its because of Micahel Jacksons music that Sonic 3 and Knuckles sounded as good as they did.

  • Comment removed

  • @Adam060756 Sorry, and I do notice that the soundtracks from Carnival Night on down aren't too good. Listen to the differences from Act 1 and Act 2. They're not that different.

  • @Aura3x3 That's the king of pop for you.

His musical collaborations with Brad Buxer were far worse sounding in Sonic 3 than Jun Senoue's and Howard Drossin's. MJ and Buxer couldn't even make the Act 2 themes sound different from the Act 1 themes and yet he's put on a pedestal as the world's greatest musical entertainer.

  • @Adam060756 Nevermind, I'll post all the comments to your channel. It's easier that way.

  • WOW!!!! God bless you and Michael Jackson!!!!

  • MJ's music meshes well with the Sonic games, something about it just works. Maybe it's because Jackson was always creating music that was almost otherworldly, and ahead of it's time, much like the Sonic The Hedgehog series.

  • If nothing else, they went to the same guy to get their noses lifted.

  • I have a new found respect for Sonic.

  • Sega contracted Jackson to compose the music for Sonic 3. Still favored by the company since his mega hit Moonwalker, Jackson had come to Sega's American headquarters on several occasions since that game shipped. However, when Jackson was accused in November, 1993 of sexually molesting thirteen-year-old Jordan Chandler, Sega dropped him from the project. Supposedly, Jackson had by then finished the entire score to the game.

    Source: tinyurl com/lrq23n

  • @jim8463 Moonwalker was a hit? (not being sarcastic, I just assumed since Moonwalker the movie wasn't big in America, neither was the game)

  • @alexhatzia I remember playing that game on the mega drive. It was fairly available here in the uk, and the graphics were ok, but it was a little repetetive as well. The film was ok though.

  • I'm kind of sad that the mystery is over...

  • To think Sonic went from Michael FUCKING Jackson to Crush 40 and Zebrahead... Shows you exactly how downhill the game has gone.

  • lol @ 0:55 Sonic singing "Jam!"

  • holy shit i just bought this game at the flea market. its fucking awesome that the King of Pop made these songs!

  • As many times I've played sonic as a kid, I never knew Michael's music was in it. Hearing this makes me love Michael even more and wish I had a sega genesis again.

  • Well truth is, the creators of Sonic based some things that are on Sonic ON M.J. (i saw a documentary with the creators, they are fan of M.J.) That is why Sonic has those shape of shoes (or had in the 90's) and has those gloves.

So Either way... there is a M.J.'s vibe to all of the Sonic games and Sonic music. So who knows if the Sonic 3 music is from M.J!.. I however think it is!

  • why disregard the comparison from Ice Cap zone and who is it... they are the same beat... they are not completely the same. However anyone with common sense and a bit sense of rhytm feels they are very simmilar

  • @SuperHns I took quite a few aptitude, career, and talent tests in the past few years. All of which said that my top talent is music. Those songs are nearly exactly identical. Just because the technical names of the cord progressions aren't totally the same doesn't matter; what does is that they sound similar to the human ear.

    ==

Stranger In Moscow and the credits to Sonic 3 are completely identical in my hearing. I could even use the credits as an instrumental for Stranger In Moscow. It'd work.

  • @SuperHns I sort of agree with you, but in my opinion IceCap zone is Smooth Criminal other than that chord progression in Who Is It.

  • you missed marble garden zone with thriller!

  • @pokedaniel64 He missed it out on purpose, Marble Garden and Triiller have nothing related other than a slight similaritie, and a remix by Yuzoboy was also good. But Marble was composed by Howard Drossin.

  • Dude... Yuzoboy just got terminated. XC

  • @LaVaReEfAcT1 i know it sucks

  • The Scrap Brain Zone's music in Sonic The Hedgehog is more closely related to Stevie Wonder's Sir Duke. Still wild though!

  • yesterday I was listening to the sonic 3´s original soundtrack and realized that the angel island´s boss song has MJ´s signature scream on it

  • Jesus Christ, could your video be any lower in sound volume

  • actually the music he had was:

    Carnival Night Zone

    IceCap Zone

    Launch Base Zone

    Credits

    Competition Menu

    and a few small others

  • yes michae jackson was involed in the project, and he didnt want anyone to know he was because he thought the music sound bad in.

  • puffffffffffffffff SHUT UP FUCKING NERD

  • @erestoguai you shut up, erestoguarra. Stick to your playstation crappy life and shut your trap (or open it just for eating cock).

  • horror lol

  • Smooth Criminal and Scrap Brain Zone sound the same.

  • @basszguy123

    I couldn't hear it.

I know springyard zone and bobby brown's every little step are pretty much on point. Ive been meaning to go through and see if I can recognize any other sonic music as other songs. Knuckles beat in Sonic 3 is heavily MJ it even has his classic yelling. But yeah I hear MJ music in other Sonic levels.

  • @rossothecrimson7

    Thriller: Marble Garden Zone

    Dangerous: Sonic 3 Mini-boss

    Smooth Criminal: Flying Battery Zone

The Way You Make Me Feel: Gumball Machine

    Bad: Launch Base Zone

    Just to name a few.

  • @basszguy123

ahhh, it's smooth criminal and flying battery zone......got it now.

  • @rossothecrimson7 OMG.... you're RIGHT about Bobby Brown and Springyard zone. lol now i'm bout to go play it.

  • Comment removed

  • @MASOFENT No Scrap Brain was composed by Masato Nakamura of the J-Pop band Dreams Come True.

  • @Jami393 Oh shit, i change the names XD.

Yes, Masato Nakamura compose that music. Naoto Oshima create Sonic. Sorry ^^U

  • I heard that MJ DID compose the Sonic 3 music, but refused for Sega to credit him when the game ended for the music, so they didn't.

  • A new year is here. I hope justice is found for Michael and his fans and family can find some peace

  • Come to think of it, Azure Lake sounds a little like Black or White.

  • This is really what happened

    MJ did compose

    MJ did not like

    MJ wanted the music off

SEGA could not replace it as sonic 3 was already late

  • @gamehaxuk maybe.. as far as i know, the music was replaced in sonic & knuckles collection because computers at that time could not support that kind of sounds, so they were replaced

  • @gamehaxuk No MJ just wanted to be uncredited, not wanting his music taken off.

  • @gamehaxuk He didn't like it? I loved all sonic 3 songs the ending credits are amazing! and ice cap zone and Launch base!

  • @gamehaxuk your wrong u know that right? mj was happy to help sega and untill u so me any diff like a video saying he wanted is music out

  • I didn't realize that tracks had been replaced on the compilations. I assume this is true of the virtual console games as well?

It's horrible that they would change the games like that.

  • @17R3W It was only on the PC "Sonic & Knuckles Collection". Every other re-release of the game has the original music.

  • @soupfan1

Cool, because I have the sonic collection disc for NGC.

  • pretty cool!

  • no wonder why i have always loved sonic music

  • Doesn't anyone ever consider that Who Is It isn't IceCap but Smooth Criminal is IceCap; yes I have heard the similarities between Who Is It and IceCap but that chord is found in Smooth Criminal aswell. Also other chords in IceCap are found in Smooth Criminal; so Smooth Criminal is more IceCap than Who Is It.

  • when i first heard of stranger in moscow, i couldnt make out the sonic 3 credits, but listening harder, they are there in the background
