She has only 1 about water as far as i know, but otherwise, water (like pure cold mountain water 4 ex.) enjoys a significant role in bulgarian folklore
Nice name, bul - gad! ha ha. i think that there have to be a little bit more folklore motive in the video to be perfect. not that much. just a little bit...
the first song is veeeeeery good!!! i love it...unfortunately i can't find it...can someone help me?? please?:3 (i know the name is drumboy btw:D)..oh! i'm from romania:D salutari^^
you can google "vdownloader" and download the program for free; It allows you to download youtube videos and even just the audio of the video if that's the only thing you want. That's how I downloaded all the songs and it's awesome!!!!!!!
How the hell am I supposed to find any information on artists and songs if everyone spells their names in six different ways?!?! Great music, by the way...
A beautiful Video ... I am "Gob smacked" by the filming and the Music ... they would have won Eurovision if Europe was "Awake" ... and not sleeping in a quagmire of Plastic and Cement.
Thank you, Bulgad .. this has opened/refreshed my MIND.
Звучи страхотно, може би някак мистериозно... Българският фолклор е толкова красив и се радвам, че има хора като Елица и Стоян, които да го ценят и да го популяризират.

Wow, thanks for the info Bulgad, I was wondering where Elitsa learned to sing like that, I thought it was from some old
tradition.
Question: Does the folk music of Bulgaria have similarities with the religious music of Bulgaria? If so, does Bulgarian folk music resemble anything that may be from an ancient Bulgarian/Eastern European religion? I am curious as to whether or not anyone knows anything about the subject. Any book recommendations on Bulgarian religion(s) would be excellent, thanks.
There is very little connection between the Bulgarion folkwore and the east Orthodix singing. They have completly diferent origins. But both are wonderfull :).
@endergame56 idk how to answer this in depth but for Eastern Orthodoxy often the Church hyms will be sung in what ever tone and language of the culture ussualy ancient hyms christianized and/or with Byzantine influence, unless im wrong and hopefuly someone will correct me if i am.
No this kind of traditional music excists only in Bulgaria, the religious music is byzantine-greek :-) you can look up for Greek orthodox and Bulgarian Orthodox and see that it's the same thing...

their song "Dream" (from Drumboy) is great, the best I've heard so far from them. I have the MP3, if someone is interested in making a video with it....
