  • What is this man trying to promote?

  • Paul Washer is preaching the book of 1st John which is EVIDENCE THAT ONE HAS TRULY BEEN SAVED!!! Read it!!! It's there!!!

  • You just about put me to sleep...That isn't preachin, Your a terrible preacher. Just take something simple (like the Bible) and complicate it...You bore us to tears. If you were to look up the def. of bull shit - you would be listed... Jesus is the only way, the rock of salvation...If your not angry, if your not happy, if your not expressing emotion, when expressing scripture, your not right with god. This is the living book, for when it is opened you come alive - Your so blind and deaf.

  • @rekindling1

You dare judge someone's salvation or standing with God based on HOW they present the scriptures? What, you always have to do it with zeal?

You need to take a step back and really examine yourself. Your whole post was nothing but trolling and it was insulting even to me. I was disgusted reading it, you need to change your attitude. Mr self righteous.

  • If ANYONE find Paul Washer' messages-as at date for I know not tomorrow- repulsive or wrong in anyway, then I am afraid for that fellow.

One hardly ever find the truth these days; and to say anything wrong about Pauls messages is alarming.

Jesus said those He loves He rebukes them - a child left without rebuke is sure on the path of destruction. Apostle Paul wrote to the Cotinthians - EXAMINE YOURSELVES. Soft messages corrupt the word and waters it down; a bomb waiting to go off

  • Paul is just stating that you should examine yourself.

If you then do find similarities in your life towards an unbeliever's, then something is wrong. Then you need to repent, you need to reconcile with God.

I enjoy Paul Washers preaching and God is using him in a very critical way to deliver His message.

  • Rebukes should come from the Pastor of the sheep, not the stranger. The pastor knows his sheep personally and bears their burdens and knows their struggles but he also knows their strengths and charity and faith. No man visiting a church should question the saints faith and knowledge of their salvation unless he has been closely tied to that work and knows the works of that congregation. Congregations know when you're talking to them and when you're just grandstanding

  • @JesusNonEnviromental With due respect, I disagree with your understanding of Paul Washer's message. Nothing you are saying here applies to the essence of what Paul Washer is saying. I perceive you are not discerning this matter deeply and spiritually. You are bringing up sentimental arguments. AndrewcBain has simply just distorted Paul Washer's statements in order to build strawman arguments against him. Friend, I perceive that you do not seem to discern the times and the deceptions thereof

  • @ojaymon I've listened to Paul Washer and I agree with him on doctrinal issues, but we part ways when it comes to the love of the brethren. To attack strangers who are assembled with open ears and hearts to the Word of God with the presuppostion that they are followers of false gospels and then take the opportunity to propagate doubt in their minds of their eternal security and understanding of the Gospel is reprehensible. Speak to edify, encourage and perfect the Body of Christ

  • @ojaymon I've also listened to Andrew Bain and he also has a pitbull personality which I don't agree with, but just as Paul Washer they have a good sound foundation of doctrine. I'm confident that a New Creature in Christ is better demonstrated with love rather than rebuke. Rebuke (Law) is for those who resist sound doctrine and I don't think thats the case when people are humbly in submission to the Word of God and eager to learn.

  • this is a malicious lie,,,a lie of the devil,,,to take one thing a man says out iof context and bear false witness

  • As like most of the recent comments, I think Andrew Bain has Paul Washer all wrong. I have listened to many Paul Washer sermons and he is very consistent about being separated from the world. And thoughout his sermons I have never heard him say we are to compare ourselves with non believers. In fact he does say that there needs to be evidence of a transformed life which does not conform to the world system.

  • Listen to the whole sermon before you make any stupid accusation about him. And no, Paul washer doesn't want you to go to friends before God.....no, no no just listen to the whole thing before you take something out of context.

  • That's not what he meant at all! Y'all are taking his words totally out of context. I agree fully to what Paul said in this text. If you are no different then an unbeliever then there is a problem, and that is what he was saying. if you know Paul then you would know that he takes everything to the Lord and seeks Him above all, he does not need praise of man or even the acceptance of them. All he wants is to Glorify God and be his servant.

  • @drealu22 You have to take time to see the work of Christ in others rather than just focusing on your own walk which Paul Washer holds in high esteem because he does feel he is fit to rebuke and chastise. Its an easy thing to knock down a structure but takes much more effort and time and love to build a structure. A rebuke is a quick smack in the face, I think the body of Christs needs more Holy Kisses when we meet. Christ has started the work in all of us and we should build on that

  • I believe that Washer is thinking of Verses, Matt 7:22; 2 Peter 1:10; 2 Cor 13:5 These are verses which when taken by themselves would have some to worry, but clearly Matt 7 are workers of iniquity 2 Peter 1:10 was not to disqualify ones faith but that we should add to it, a workman that be not ashamed and 2 Cor 13 does talk about faith evaluation but it was more of a rebuke from Paul to the Corinthians who had questioned his faith and apostleship.

  • I believe that the guy who uploaded this video using part clip from Paul Washer's sermon is very dishonest. He has distorted the essence of what Paul washer was saying and has presented it in a completely different light. Every discerning Christian would readily understand the simple point Paul washer was trying to make-which is basically that if you do not honestly discern that your life as a Christian is any different from the everyday unbeliever's life, then you should have cause for concern

  • @ojaymon The bible clearly states that we should not compare ourselves one to another. I've listened to Paul Washer and its he likes to tear down instead of building up the believer. Instead of watering where someone else has planted, he burns down the barn and starts over. Some pastors aren't happy until everyone in the congregation has lost personal assurance and is licking the flames of Hell. The Doctrines of Sovereign Grace are seeds of Joy and Excitement and cast no doubts

  • @JesusNonEnviromental Sorry but if there are false prophets and wolves in sheep's clothing coming in to deceive the flock, you do not expect that the Lord will keep quiet and not warn his true flock. God does not shout from heaven. He uses anointed men of God like Paul Washer to address these issues. John the baptist and Jesus Christ did the same thing with false teachers. They were never soft on false leaders who were leading God's people astray. So your context of argument here does not apply

  • @ojaymon Hes not rebuking the false teachers hes rebuking the entire congregation. He's saying that if you have sat under these teachers not only are they lost but the whole lot of you are heading to Hell. This man is a guest speaker invited by an assembly of Saints to preach a message of encouragement and to perfect their knowledge and understanding of the meat of the scriptures, they don't need his rebukes because he speculates they might be in sin, he doesnt know them personally

  • @JesusNonEnviromental Furthermore Paul Washer was not comparing himself with anyone in this video we just watched and so I do not really see how what u are saying applies. I have never heard him say we should compare ourselves with other Christians. The context of this video simply points to the warning that one should not think he is saved just because he said a sinner's prayer without any true fruit of repentance and transformation is a person's life.So I wonder what is so hard to understand

  • @JesusNonEnviromental Again friend, if you read Titus 1:10-13 you will see Paul clearly telling Timothy that the mouths of such deceivers and vain talkers must be stopped because they teach things that they ought not to teach. He went on to say that these men should be rebuked sharply so that God's people may be sound in the faith.

    Tts 1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

Paul Washer is simply one of God's tools used in achieving this.

  • the funny thing is that the video uploader isn't even taking part in the conversations here. This is useless talk, just one more reason for unbelievers to say to us we're divided. I don't believe in Once Saved Always Saved doctrine, but, seen that I know what Paul Washer means here, I can say he was saying that as a Christian, my actions, thoughts, words and morality have to be different from those of this world. if not I'm not walking in Holiness. If you're not different who are you serving?

  • This is very simple. You are no saved by works only by GRACE and trust in JESUS. But if you are born again in the Holy Spirit you are going to do GOOD works. If your roots are in good soil you are going to produce good fruit. Paul Washer is right. If you are a Christian and you claim that you are born again you are going to hate sin. If you continue with your sinful nature then you are not be born again!!!!!!

  • Why the title of this video?

  • @Godsshepherd47 How is a bikie suppose to minister to bikies if he dresses in a buisness suit ? We cant put God in a box and say that he changes us all on the outside to fit the 'status quo' YES the heart MUST change because its what is in the heart that defiles us not the clothes we wear, unless God specifically and individually tells us to change that ...Why make the dress code a corporate message? Where is the scripture that says we change the way we dress??? God looks at our heart !

  • @tarheelred28390 Calvin teaches from the bible and he teaches salvation by faith alone and empowerment through the holy SPIRIT, Calvin has beautiful teachings on what the HOLY SPIRIT does for us and about what the Atonement of JESUS CHRIST means for our forgiveness of sins. I don't care about denominations and I have faith in JESUS CHRIST alone, but what I have read of Calvin is deeply rooted in the Gospel.

  • Man looks at the outward appeance but God looks at the HEART !!!

  • Can we make allowances for people who have mental health issues? Sometimes people are 'stuck' psychologically. I am a Counsellor and understand the issues of the mind - Jesus said 0 I have not come to judge the world but to save it .... Our sanctification is not a sign of our justification - God looks at the heart and only HE knows why and where people are stuck ! ThankGod for people that love us into the kingdom Jesus also said to bear the burdens of the weak ....

  • Even I that haven't heard all of this-Washers preaching-can tell this video is out of context!!! Christians shouldn't look for things to argue about-but to support and pray for each other. I can't hear anything wrong with qwashers speach...to short and...out of context. Many ppl do this to the Bible as well! STOP!

  • Even I that haven't heard all of this-Washers preaching-can tell this video is out of context!!! Christians shouldn't looke for things to argue about-but to support and pray for each other. I can't hear anything wrong with qwashers speach...to short and...out of context. Many ppl do this to the Bible as well! STOP!

  • everyone should do themselves a favor and never pay any attention to andrew bain at all. arguing with him encourages him, its the fuel to his fire, dissension is the reason his ministry exists.(romans 16:17) tells us to stay away from these type of people "such people are not serving the Lord but their own appetite.he has been doing this for a long time and he has been warned many times.he is not gonna repent for his ministry.may God help him.just pray for andrew theirs nothing more we can do

  • Right on buddy, u said it, "It's still salvation by works." Great video!

Calvinism is a dangerous and unbiblical theological system.

  • @tarheelred28390 Calvinism teaches salvation by faith alone, do your homework before commenting!

  • @BuyaahKazan

Don't tell me what Calvinism teaches. U do your homework and stop believing in lordship salvation. Have u even pored all 5 points (T.U.L.I.P.) of this heresy? The Bible teaches salvation by faith alone!!!

  • Right. I didn't get that from Paul's teaching either. Keep context. Argue truthfully.

  • Brother, I don't know where you're at today, but this message I just came upon and wanted to share my interpretation of Washer's Assurance sermon. Washer often preaches on sanctification using 1 John and the concepts taught in that book, which is proper. He's not teaching on how to be saved. He's teaching that if a person truly has saving faith, God WILL sanctify them, or set them apart. What's he teaching isn't self-righteousness, but the signs of the children of God.

  • The work of Christ produces fruit. if your fruit is no different than that of the unsaved, then you are not saved.

  • shut up you dont know what you ar saying is this your calling to juge gods servents

    be whare

  • shut up you dont know what you ar saying is this your calling to juge gods servents

    be whare

  • Guys stop being so shallow. This guy who made this video about Washer is doing this just to make a few dollars from views and hits. He's done a good job of that too.

  • I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU. IN CHURCH, MANY CHURCHES, I HAVE BEEN CHEATED AND MY HOUSE HAS BEEN BROKEN INTO BY FELLOW "CHRISTIANS". DO YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THAT THESE LAW BREAKERS ARE TRUE BELIEVERS AND THAT THEY WILL BE IN HEAVEN WITH CHRIST. FOR GOODNESS SAKE USE YOUR COMMON SENSE. YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO LIVE NEXT DOOR TO SOME OF THESE, LET ALONE SHARE YOUR ETERNAL HOME WITH THEM.

  • Stop finding fault! Judge not lest ye be judged right? You should read more WORD and post less videos.

  • This is out of context. I know brother Paul's teachings very well. I don't know who posted this but he needs to stop being a false witness and do some real research. I guess the brighter you shine the more bugs you attract.

  • Pastor Washer does not promote works salvation. He speaks on evidence of salvation.

Paul also said, examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates. II Cor. 13:5.

If you claim to be a Christian, and you look, act and smell like the reprobate students you go to school with, you need to question whether or not you're in the same spiritual condition as they.

  • Not to mention that this doctrine, Calvinism, is not from Christ, it's from Calvin, a man that wantted to kill people in the name of himself and his convictions.

Second, this doctrine, at least, causes the most hard feeling to those that want to be saved (sincerely) but when they compare theirselves to some and find any similarity they'll start oto question about their salvation.

But it can be worse, you give them motivation to sin anyway cause they was born to burn...

  • Amen! Good video.

  • pray for 35 people who really need repentance

  • Andrew, don't act like a gumboot mate! Listen to the WHOLE original message in context. You are simply showing yourself up!

  • SLEEP SLEEP SLEEPER. YOU ARE A WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING ARROGANT! GOD IS HOLY. YOU HAVE A TWISTED MIND AND YOU ARE BITTER, CAUSE OF YOUR ARROGANCE, YOU CANNOT FIND GOD! FORSHAME!

  • Let the Lord be the judge. Keep it moving!

  • Is this videos sayin he's a Catholic Priest now .... cause now he looks like or has that Priest type of look .... if you know what I mean .

  • if you do not repent and give your life to christ you will go to hell . you do not know who christ is that is why you change the word that were said by brother paul , even your voice sounds like evil .

  • He never said that you are taking what he said out of textread the whole sermon he preach about repentence that's what people hate so the bottom line is repent and turn from your wicked ways or you will be hell bound

  • this video is an example of redirecting the truth...to lie

  • this video is an example of redirecting the truth...to lie

  • Who made this stupid video? MORON

  • ESTAS BIEN PENDEJO BROTHER, PAUL WASHER ES UN VERDADERO CRISTIANO, NO SABES NI LO QUE DICES NI LO QUE HACES. ERES UN GRAN IGNORANTE. ABUSADO EH? POR QUE EL SI ES UN VERDADERO HIJO DE DIOS, CUIDADO CON LO QUE DICES. Y HACES. CUIDADO. SI YO FUERA TU LO PENSARIA DOS VECES. YA QUISIERAN TENER A UN CATOLICO ASI DE BUENO, JA JA JA .

  • ESTAS BIEN PENDEJO BROTHER, PAUL WASHER ES UN VERDADERO CRISTIANO, NO SABES NI LO QUE DICES NI LO QUE HACES. ERES UN GRAN IGNORANTE. ABUSADO EH? POR QUE EL SI ES UN VERDADERO HIJO DE DIOS, CUIDADO CON LO QUE DICES. Y HACES. CUIDADO. SI YO FUERA TU LO PENSARIA DOS VECES.

  • OMG bain stop wasting your time. I just found two video you made. you could see god when you made this useless video.

  • I'm not here to protect Washer in any way. I'm not taking sides completely but I'm going to merely warn you, whoever made this video... you're twisting words... you're warping thoughts.... and you're denying (in the direct quotations from Paul Washer) scripture. The scriptures say that you will be a new creation. That you will, in a manner of speaking, detest the life that you once lived. It was a mistake to use that quote from Washer. Take another look at the Gospel PLEASE. For your own benefit

  • Although the Bible doesn't tell you to look at your fellow man but it does tell you to not to desire the things the world does. You are also suppose to check and see if your in the faith and practice discernment. You are not saved by your works but faith without works is dead. The parables Jesus said were all about people who didn't have faith. Paul teachings are true if you're born again you WILL have good fruit period. Its simple good tree = good fruit. Bad tree = bad fruit.

  • O please shut up. Go out and preach the gospel...

  • This AndrewBain guy seems to have a habit of taking people's comments out of context and then making a YouTube video condemning them. Poor form man.

  • err.... stuffy nzer trying to witch hunt 0.0 funny more then disturbing, because its so far out you can't take it seriously. reasons its funny - you took a 20 second clip of someone whos' preached thousands of messages and tried to rip his entire moral status. not okay. but anyway i laughed =D here's some advice, watch some more PW sermons, because you apparently have only seen this very small clip. get out and do some more research first.

  • Wow... Andrew... you are one confused individual... I have never heard anybody misunderstand a sermon so badly in my life. Paul has never said that everybody has the 'truth way down inside themselves'. Dude... do you understand the english language?

  • hear the whole sermon..

  • maybe you should listen to one of paul's (complete) sermons . maybe you will learn something.

  • He is just describing the fruit, using different trees as examples. That's all. He is not comparing righteousness. The scriptures do this very often.

  • really! REALLY!!! this makes me sad.

  • outta real and complete context

  • jesus said u know them by their fruit

  • welcome to the prime example taking something WAY out of context.

  • ha, ha,ha well !!! Buddie you are soooo lost. i really don't care what motivated you to do this video, it is very obvious that you have some knowledge of the scripture, but you really using it against yourself! You have no idea how easy it is for a true born again christian to spot a counterfeit like yourself ! you only messing with the lost, for which you'll pay just as dearly on the judgment day

  • Just because this guy has an English ascent doesn't mean he is smart. His evidence is poor and lack of knowledge. Christ will be exalted, the Bible will not go away, God is Sovereign. Paul Washer loves all three. Sorry chap but jolly well need to worry about your own walk with Christ.

  • @kingxicano yo!! not to split hairs but he sounds australian to me... just sayin... :D

  • Oh!!! Would You listen TO THIS LEGALISTIC Nararator!! Who made this video ?? Wow.. "Slanderer" ..

  • Why would you attack a man of God who was so wonderfully saved?

  • This is one of the worst rrebutalls against the Gospel taht I have ever seen!

  • I can tell your right just by the amount of dislikes you have.

  • LOL. People who make this kind of videos just can't stand the TRUTH in Paul Washer's preaching. They have itching ears as prophesied by Apostle Paul in his letter to Timothy. These people only want to hear what their ears want to hear. They don't want holiness, they don't want conviction of SIN. If Christians would only take what the Word of God says seriously, oh what kind of holy people could we have been.

  • , even in a holy place. paul washer is not ccorrupted. It's you who put such videos out by doing evil works of the devil. Go read the Gospel asking Gods Holy Spirit to show you the Gospel truth by opening your eyes to the the light of Gods truth and to un stop your ears that the things you hear is truth or a lie From the Devil . If you had discernment then you would not have came against this man of God.

  • Paul is right and he is not teaching some other Gospel. When I stand in the presents of the un Godly, I feel the evil and why? I am a child of God and seek the lord and I turned away from the world years ago to do the will of God. The Hoy Bible of those words Jesus said to the un believers that they are the children of Satan. JESUS knows who his children are. We know what spirit a person has just by standing beside them in a grocery store or any other place.

  • Sir listen closer to what Paul preaches. He is definitely not a Calvinist!!!

I figured that out the first two sermons that I heard him preach! It was clear.

Have you ever heard anything else he preached before making that statement about him on this video?

I am on this post writing about Paul W. because of another link someone sent me on Paul W. this morning.

  • The point made by Paul is: "You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God." James 4:4

That is all Paul W. is saying.

So if U love sin and drink with your friends, think like your friends, like what your friends like, and live like your friends then apply what Paul says.

But if you find U R now quite different from your friends praise God. U R showing the fruit of salvation.

  • You sir, are a false teacher! Paul Washer teaches the truth!

  • Paul Washer was not talking about good works as means of salvation. But he was talking about the evidence that God has saved a man. Desiring God, hating sins, pursuing a righteous life, and so burdened when committing sin are not works of man but God residing in that man. Paul said "It is not I but Christ living in me". That is the evidence of true salvation was on man.

  • @jhunorose Pastors sometimes become the judge and jury for other believers as they compare their works and trials to their congregation. Paul felt this at times when writing to the churches that they had all the comforts while he was poor and hungry and being persecuted. A pastor must nurture his sheep with encouragement and praise. When we question the work of God in others we are questioning the Grace of God, just as the Good son questioned the Father concerning the Prodigal son

  • Paul was saying if you are not different than the worldly then you should not be assured of your salvation-there are many self deceived with a false assurance of salvation-you attack this man because you love your sin.

  • the person who did this video is misleading people, this is an act of comparaison to see where you at, but anyway if you listen to the all message then you will understand.

  • You should put this much effort into spreading a positive message instead of micro examining every word of someone else. Find your own message of love and hope to help other people instead of what you are doing with this video. I am not a follower of paul washer per say, but your video struck me as useless, and of wasted breath...You almost come across as a hater. What you are doing in this video is not helpful. You know the scriptures so well commit to use them in a positive manner. Bless You.

  • way out of context. listen to washer a lot closer pal.

  • so your saying we can not judge our fruits or the fruits of others? Wow? so you are contradicting the Bible completely. and for the record Paul washer is not a calvanist

  • The man on the voice over is B L I N D....Paul Washer is not saying what this guy is...this guy is not remotely close. He clearly doesnt get it...Washer is saying: Do you still act, think, desire, walk, talk, and look like the world? (my interpetation) The scripture says to examine yourselves to see if your of the faith right? I believe it does..

  • Christianity was a lot better off when it was pure! The holy roman empire "Catholicism" has polluted the gospel!

  • Paul Washer would never give up the gospel for the catholic man made religion. He would never stop worshiping the Lord to worship an idol (virgin mary).

  • Listen to more than this clip to know what gospel Paul Washer preaches. This is twisted by the commentator.

  • you most be a fool to believe this viedo or just maybe you dont know the Holy Spirit, yes you dont get saved by works but by your fruits you will be known. many many will say Lord Lord and the Lord will say i never knew you. we are the salt of the earth and if we less our fover, what good are we for? Is God work in your life? if he is how can you walk like a non-believer? yes we will sin, but God get us back to the path of rightousness..His he done that in your life or you still walking on sin?

  • Sir, Please. I have watched his videos. I am 49 years old. I am not a child, but a child of God. And what Paul says is true. He is only asking people to assess if they are living in and for the world or if they are living for God. You should know better!

  • READ ABOUT SCOTT HAHN...HE WAS A CALVINISTIC MINISTER WHO BECAME A ROMAN CATHOLIC...I HOPE PAUL WASHER WILL DO THE SAME

  • Its not a matter of legalism but I believe that if you believe it will be evident, we can violate the law constantly everyday cause Jesus made the bar so high that its not even attainable but thank him he took it on himself our failings. Its good to look at the law to see where we are but we must always remember we are his work and not our own.

  • You are very ignorant of what Paul Washer teaches. Study before you speak. Remember you will be judged for every word you say.

  • Natural man is born with a sin nature yes, but can understand moral and ethic in its basics. It is only the work of the Holy Spirit that brings a person to eternal salvation. So why do you waste your breath against a man preaching in his full understanding of Biblical Christianity? It makes you sound like a foolish man and a proud man at best.

  • And in my waywardness I search and look for real truth. Extremest or being radical about the true Faith isn't the matter of the fact. The fact is always searching for the fact. The truth is always at matter and what Paul preaches for. I don't idolize him but do hold him in high respects because of his 'giving up' of himself in looks, language, technique and whatever else you can throw at it.

  • If God in His finished work came upon you then why oh why would you not live your life a different way. This does not come from a believer that lives anything near to a perfect life but does search and yearn for a faithfull life. You do not bring such hope.

  • I don't believe it! I don't believe it! From every word he's every preached I've never heard him preach such a thing. Prove it. You bring your knowledge and Scripture against him but post secondly to this post. Conditional? Yes, why wouldn't it be.

  • PAUL WASHER WOULD HAVE TO GET RID OF A LOT OF THEOLOGICAL GARBAGE TO BECOME PART OF GOD'S TRUE CHURCH

  • I don't agree with you on this video.. it's not am I better, it is am I of this world or set apart.

  • Everytime someone preaches the truth we all get nervous, but when someone preaches lies, we don't care. Its simple, by the fruits we know who is a christian and who is not. Paul whasher preaches bible truth, and this truth has changed my life.

  • Paul's message is clearly taken way out of context.

He is echoing the same idea that James the brother of christ did...

If your so-called "faith" is not.. or better said, has not made you different than the unbeliever, then is that faith GENUINE or even powerful enough to save you.

Faith without works is not faith.

Those in Christ are new creations, they are somthing/someone that was not what and who they were before. Their attitudes and walk has clearly changed, by the Gospel of Christ.

  • As for our belief in God, he's using scripture to provide assurance of salvation, by your fruit. As for there being no truth in lost people, I beg to differ, Hitler said that if you tell a lie long enough and loud enough people will believe, that's the truth and I doubt Hitler was saved. People also do go to Hell believing the truth, Satan for example, do you think he doesn't believe in God?

  • Way to take a sermon out of context... Lol, you obviously don't listen to Paul Washer's preaching often. He's not saying that our salvation is because of our works, he is saying because of true salvation there will be works.

  • Way to take a sermon out of context... Lol

  • you are wrong mate,

are you listening what he really is saying?

    i don´t think so.

you don´t have a clue about paul washer,

do you think you are better than him? or

    even greater than him?

hey dude, i think you should look up to GOD

and ask Him, if really Paul Washer is what you are saying.

    LET YOUR EYES BE OPEN...

but you have an excellent posh accent, i love it

  • I think Paul Washer needs to really examine whether or not he truly wears ties that truly match his coat and which truly cover the buttons on his shirt (instead of just looking like a phallic). Perhaps he should consider exercising himself with the idea of whether or not he's truly a homosexual. I mean, what does one have to do to really reach down inside oneself to know if your truly heterosexual or truly not gay?

Truly, Washer truly needs to truly repent - truly!

  • AndrewcBain, and RedBeetle, your videos are not honouring to God.

All you seem to delight in, is 'exposing' these 'neo-calvinists'.

You remind me of the pharisees that Jesus preached against.

You are so concerned with getting your doctrine exactly right, that you are unaware that you have gone cold in your hearts. You do not appear to be passionate about God, but you certainly seem passionate to bring down God- fearing ministers (who certainly do seem to be passionate about God).

  • This is not what Paul Washer teaches. The person who made this video is taking these comments way out of context. Listen to his Shocking Message to the Youth and you will see what he really teaches. In this clip, which I have heard from the beginning, Paul is telling us to compare our fruit to a known unbeliever. If we act, talk, and live the same as them then we should be wary of our salvation. This is biblical teaching. Jesus tells us by their fruit you will recognize them.

  • @auknanoquark - I love that this post have more tombs than the video itself - Amen go with Jesus brother!

  • @auknanoquark So true. This "not look to the gospel itself because of comparison" is actually part of a gospel. Go ahead and turn your bibles to Matthew 12:35 where Jesus COMPARES two different "trees" - one that is good (which brings forth good) and one that is evil (which brings forth evil). I believe that Paul Washer's teachings are biblical. I don't know what these people who create such videos want. One thing's for sure, I agree that such arguments are taken waaaaaaay out of context.

  • @auknanoquark Def the PERSON WHO UPLOADED THIS IS OUT OF CONTEXT AND WILL BE OUT OF CONTEXT IN HELL-- STOP THE STUPID ANYLISIS -- GO TO YOUR BIBLE YOU DIOT!!

  • @auknanoquark Def the PERSON WHO UPLOADED THIS IS OUT OF CONTEXT AND WILL BE OUT OF CONTEXT IN HELL-- STOP THE STUPID ANYLISIS -- GO TO YOUR BIBLE YOU IDIOT!!

  • @auknanoquark Correct...I understood that too from the short clip with Washer...

  • We all understand that Paul is not saying your deeds or works are what bring you to God, but that they are a result of that relationship and flow out of it. The bible holds us to a standard of acceptable behavior and this author seems to have trouble in this area.

  • What Paul is saying is biblical

From Colossians 3 5 Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 On account of these the wrath of God is coming. 7 In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. 8 But now you must put them all away: ranger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices

  • That's not what he was implying at all. I REBUKE you for trying to take this man of the ALL HIGH and make him seem unto something ugly and put blemish on him. Don't try & cherry pick, take his REAL message and cut a piece out to use it for your LIES. ----SORRY, that doesn’t fly!!

  • paul washer never says dat comparing urself to another person is the "only" way to test ur christian status ., he jus gives us an idea or a suggestion to evaluate ourselves ,., dis video has misinterpreted innocent words to make them seem like uncouth blasphemy .,

  • Washer does not preach the grace of Christ, because he works for the religious institution Baptist (Southern) which lives in the law, sitting in the chair of Moses, he preaches for money, making piety source of profit.

  • The commentator says, "Paul Washer says that the believer struggling with assurance should not look to the work of Christ, not look to the gospel itself. Instead, the believer should first look at his fellow man, and find out if he's better than they are..."

But in Paul's entire life of preaching has he ever said anything that resembles what he is being accused of? Of course not! The twisting of words: how eerily similar to the Serpent's deception of Eve in the Garden: "Did God really say..."

  • it seems he was just saying if your not wicked in that sense you can rejoice be proud..nothing about feeling u are better as the pharasees did when they prayed in reference to luke nor did he say anything that should make you feel that you should look down upon anyone but thank u for ur concern..you should have an open mind and question/analyze everything you hear, read, watch etc. but we r also told to take the plank out of our own eye before we look at the speck in our brothers eye...God Bless

  • i appreciate your concern brother but i didnt feel paul said anything that wasnt said in 2timothy 3.vs.1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

    4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

  • He is teaching that salvation makes you a better man not that being better gets you saved. You twist his words into something you can argue with so that you look smart. repent from self righteousness so that the lord might reveal to you your sin as he has done to me

  • repent my brother ...Paul preaching is so biblical nothing else!!!!

  • I think you are seeing what you want to see.

  • It would be interesting to know Washer's 'fruits' (Matt 7:20), ie. how much money he makes from his ministry and what he does with it. But I suppose some Washer fan will tell me I'm 'missing the point'.

  • This guy takes Pastor Washer WAY OUT OF CONTEXT!!

  • I believe this to be slander. The verbally spoken depiction of Paul Washer in this video is a deceitful (and deliberate) attempt to remove the credibility Paul Washer has gained by reason of his preaching which untill this day to my knowledge (and I have seen him preach much) his message (From the word of god) Has been righteous.

  • Who is this? You have completely missed the point of Paul Washer's message. You should examine yourself and repent from your bashing of the ministry of someone else.

  • Paul is saying to examine yourself to see if your in the faith. If your truly saved, your life will reflect it. Salvation is a supernatural work of the holy spirit. It's not a prayer you repeat, and then you go to denny's and live like the rest of the world then put on a fake face for 1 hour on sunday morning.

  • Paul Washer falsely teaches that if you are a Christian and you fall back into habitual sin, that you may not be a Christian after all. Hogwash...The man is deluded. If a person is born again, they will ALWAYS be born again. No one "loses salvation": because they backslide. God is able to KEEP us through it all. Paul Washer bases his salvation on how good he is before God...how good he obeys God. Folks, our righteousness comes from faith in Christ ALONE, we have no righteousness of our own.

  • @disciplesofthecross Oh really? You think the once saved always saved is right do you? What if a person gets saved then goes back and loses his faith and denies Jesus Christ? Will he saved then? Once saved always saved is a false sense of security, once we are saved we must continue to follow Christ. We are not fully "saved" until we die and we go to Heaven. When we become born-again believers we are being saved and if you were to die a born-again believer you would be SAVED.

  • @FreeInChrist777 It is impossible to become "unborn again." You cannot undo something supernatural that the Holy Spirit did within you at the time of conversion. When you understand what really happened at the new birth, you will understand it cannot be reversed by anything we do. "And I give unto them eternal life, and THEY SHALL NEVER PERISH, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." (John 10:28) Eternal life...is eternal.

  • @FreeInChrist777 "You think the once saved always saved is right do you? What if a person gets saved then goes back and loses his faith and denies Jesus Christ?"

That person was never saved to begin with.

  • @iozstal Jesus said we get saved at the end of our life if we follow God till the end. At the moment we are being saved and are not fully saved because we have not died. So you cannot make the claim once saved always saved, since we have not been fully saved yet. At the moment we are BEING SAVED if you are currently saved and you die then you will be SAVED. We have to follow Jesus till the end that is when we are FULLY SAVED AND THERE IS NO WAY TO TURN BACK. But at the moment we are being saved.

  • @FreeInChrist777 John 5:24("...he has crossed over from death to life...") Ephesians 1:13-14 ("...marked in him with a seal...") 1 John 5:12-13 -Security of Salvation- Philippians 2:12-13 -Working out salvation- (the fruit of the holy spirit working in our life) (Not with our strength) James 2:17 ("...accompanied by action...") (the fruit of the holy spirit) Romans 13:11 ("...because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed...") -Our salvation completed until that day.-
  • @disciplesofthecross It seems that many Christians of so called Protestant denominations do not understand or even know of the fundamental doctrine that our righteousness is imputed to us. Our righteousness before God is strictly speaking not ours, but the righteousness of Christ credited to us. There is no test-by-works needed (or even possible) to determine if we are justified. If we believe in Christ as our substitutionary sacrifice and righteousness we are justified and thereby saved.

  • @thinkerj Correct, it is HIS righteousness imputed unto us that no one can remove...

  • Didn't Jesus preached the same way as Paul is preaching, discerning between a sinner and the person who praised himself as he fasts and prays daily and do tithing to the church. As it is written in Luke 18:9-14,lets give our whole selves to CHRIST so we'll be able to understand the scriptures with the help of the HOLY SPIRIT which the scribes can't understand! Luke 10:17-24

  • When someone talks about the very importance of holiness and righteousness as a standard character of follower of Christ to work on ...many christians would say and quote this verse from Ephesians "it is by grace that we have been save through faith in Jesus Christ"...because of two things...most Christians don't have holiness and righteousness in their lives..book of Jude says "They are godless men who change the GRACE of God into license for doing IMMORALITY... double life Christian beware!

  • You translate Washer's wanting struggling believers to test themselves through comparison to UNbelievers, to sound as he wants one believer to ask him/herself if they're "better" than another believer...which again, is inaccurate and sounds a bit spun and misleading.

  • I'm not sold 100% on Mr. Washer...but I've listened to opening statement you put in the beginning. and I have to say, I notice that your translation of Mr. Washer's words can be, at times, misleading. Example: You translate "unbelievers" to "fellow men" which can then make the whole statement sound like Washer's trying to make one christian compare themself to another. Which is not what he's saying.

  • Woww, I can see a relentless attack against the bold, direct, straight forward preachers. Trying to pick any little mispoken word a preacher says to condemn him saying he's preaching heresy. I don't think that's right. I even see videos here against john macarthur.

  • This video show you how a person misinterpret a message to change it. This is what people do with the word of God. This video is wrong...

  • I have to disagree. I don't see the promotion of self-righteousness here but rather a comparison of the heartbeat and desires of a saved individual vs. a lost individual.

  • you missed the whole point.
