  • 0:22 How can he push X with his left hand?

  • huh so i guess nintendo and microsoft copied sony then

  • Guess what, peeps? The SEGA Dreamcast had PROPER motion controls four years before THIS! Look it up. You could play SEGA Bass Fishing, Virtua Tennis and Soul Calibur with a motion-control-using fishing rod. No joke. Search "Dreamcast Motion Controller" at the search bar and see for urselves! (I hate how SEGA are always ignored for innovative stuff like this. It happens all the time, I swear.)

  • it's read sony " ps2 " motion controller 5 years ago (2004)!!

and after all that people saying sony is copying nintendos wiimote T_T

  • @fareedbakhit - As the previous post says, that's just webcam tracking. It's no more PS Move than Camspace for PCs;

    /watch?v=Y-37UnY5i3Y

Sony's Richard Marks had the idea for webcam tracking in games, but they found it was limited, and so it was never used for games. Then Wii came along and showed Sony the solution, which is not to rely 100% on a webcam, but to put as much of the tracking as you can INSIDE a controller. Sony took that idea, mixed it with their webcam tech and created PS Move.

  • @MTMind2 not a hater or a fanboy i like all game console but it's still a sony's idea in the first place plus the ps move is more accuracy than the wiimote due to the ps3 camera the ps eye but for nintendo and there wiimote nintendo should go & used a camera with the wii insted of that long thing that came with the wii or the " plus " thing that you plug on your wiimote to make it more motion tracking.

  • @fareedbakhit - Google "Nintendo Gyration 2001" and notice that Nintendo started with a prototype which became the Wiimote back when Sony still only looked at webcam tracking. Sony didn't begin the Move wand until 2008, so being more recent you'd expect it to be more accurate, not less. Both use a cam, light and wand combo! The Wiimote actually has a mini-cam at the end which tracks the IR lights in the sensor bar by your TV. Move reverses this, with the cam by your TV and the light on the wand.

  • @MTMind2 well at the end we the users should not fight on who is stealing whos idea so what if sony's is stealing nintendos wiimote so what if nintendo have stealing the early idea of the ps1 and take it to philips to create the philips CD-i so what!

as long as we all having fun on our console we should not bother on these thing as they say let those companys do the fight and invent stuff & games and we will get them and had some fun with them even though some of these thing is not so fun.

  • @fareedbakhit - Great point, I agree with you 100% :-) But I would add, I always say that no-one is 'stealing'. Technology is about progress, it's about taking old tech and improving it, making it faster, cheaper, more powerful, more features/capabilities etc, and that applies to all the tech we own today, from our phones to our TVs to even our cars. Console tech is no different, hence Kinect is a basically an enhanced EyeToy, Move an enhanced Wiimote. So as you said, let's just enjoy them :)

  • Thi9s is just like a tracking camera device, NOT a motion con troller at all... you just "draw" figures and the device detect's them and then according to which figure you draw the game performs an action... a motion controller is something very very different...

  • Ha that looks like a wand the Move looks like a dildo!

  • To bad the concepts for the wiimote was back in 2001 for a gamecube. pyro used this video to try to disclaim sony copying nintendo with motion controls but even then its not the first to have motion controll (nes zapper, (the gun bunch of old consoles had them.) powerglove and super scope, (genisis knock off gun).

  • was this ever released? if so where can i buy this i want it

  • he developed the motion controller ps3. sony fails

  • The camera is rumling, in the edge you see slightly more of the background in the edges. This is fake.

  • @maiahi0

    no this is real

i actually had a eyetoy game using this technology

it was in one of the party titles as a extra

  • Hmm, interesting. Is there a way to prove this was released in 04?

  • @MestizoFilipino This is an early version of Psmove, released this year...

  • @MestizoFilipino they didnt becuz they started making the ps3 and they tought of making this in the ps3 and it took alot of years to make and the remade the ps move for 5-6 years

  • @2884nick - This is just research for interacting with a webcam using objects. It's no different to Camspace;

    /watch?v=v0srY37kkMw

Hence Sony were not making Move back then, just seeing what they can do with a webcam, but they couldn't find a use for it.

After seeing the Wii, then as EyeToy/Move creator Richard Marks says, they used some of that research in Move (sphere tracking) but didn't start developing a wand with motion sensors until 2008!

    Go to 4:41 here;

    /watch?v=tlDXIl619CQ

  • @MTMind2 thnx for the info

  • @2884nick - No problem :-)

  • So what your telling me is that Sony made like the kinect but way backkkkk.

  • can someone really explain to me why its so important who came out with something first. thats the one thing that has been annoying me with all this kinect and move stuff. and to be honest i rather still use a controller

  • nintendo power glove motion controller 20 years ago

  • i actually have the Playstation Magazine demo disc of this. It was pretty sweet lol.

The other part of the tech demo was just a bunch of on screen effects

  • the whole camera shakes when the earthquake happens. The PS2 cant shake a piece of hardware.

  • @SimonPSC33 Lmao you think that the camera itself was shaking?..... Wow...Enjoy yourself

  • @SimonPSC33

    Wow, you are very stupid.

  • @WWYTD ROFL!

  • 38 people are wiitrolly fansboys (no wii fans thtas different)

  • FAKE!

  • @SpyengoEen it is not fake sony really did come up with it first :P

  • He's a WITCH!!!

    Burn him!!

  • Power Glove started motion control

  • @TheViperMonkey Arcades did.... there are light guns from well over 30 years ago

  • @TheViperMonkey And it made it possible to land in top gun.

  • 2:01 my favorite spell!

  • Did they actually release something like that?

  • First for you all hater and fan bous lets face it the wii is an old piece of shit microsoft kinect is gonna fail an ps move if gona sell a lot, why because nintendo fail to make the wii a way lot better better graphics better sound and a good online platform, kinect is gona fail because the games are gona be casual not hard core and is a shame because 3 of sony famous shoters socom mag and killzone the have move support i play mag a lot and feels great you guys will see microsoft makink a pheri

  • does it even have buttons or a nunchuck err I mean sub controller?

  • @majorianmask isnt the purpose of the video to show they had this BEFORE nintendo.

  • @majorianmask you can only use the ps2 for buttons

  • Nintendo started development on the Nintendo Revolution System in 2000, which later became the Wii, so Nintendo was still 4 years ahead of Sony, plus..........Power.......Glove. I think I said enough. :P

  • sorcery in early dev lol

  • Cool so sony tracked a foam ball on a stick with NO buttons, NO pointer control,NO internal motion sensors, and NO electronics of any kind AFTER Nintendo had Kirby tilt and tumble in 1999 power glove in 1989 and the light gun.

wow sony you really ARE innovative. I never would have thought putting a foam ball on a stick and playing games with it could be practical......O WAIT it's NOT! that's why you copied the wiimotes pointer control and internal motion sensor integration.

  • @Pooverse stfu

  • @Pooverse you should remember, gaming is about the games, and on thet field, Nintendo hasn't innovated in a long time, that's why you get another bloody Mario, another bloody Zelda, another Bloody Metroid, another Bloody Kirby.

Not getting new and unique games would be my personal hell, that's why I stick with Sony who don't release the same crap to milk costumers of money =)

  • @Rexmaster666 said " I stick with Sony who don't release the same crap to milk costumers of money "

Really well socom 11, twisted metal 7, Rachet and clank 9, Gran turismo 5, and GOW 7 all say hi.

Just like sony fans love the action, gore orgy that is GOW.

nintendo fans love the tight, fluid, and challenging platforming of a mario game.

  • @Pooverse GoW7? =) Lol, anyway, games with big numbers on them can be excused because they also release new and unique stuff that's actually good =)

    Like Infamous and Uncharted =)

Nintendo doesn't get anything new that's unique and good for that matter, and the wii motion controls are very inaccurate, I once tried the wii, I played one boxing game, I noticed it responded badly so it ended with me waving my arms hoping to get lucky, Sony has been working on this a long time, so it works =)

  • @Rexmaster666 said "I once tried the wii"

WOW well that shows how knowledgeable and creditable your opinion on this subject is . But that makes sense, because people that actually own or played wii more than ones aren't nearly as shallow , bias, or ignorant as you.

  • @Pooverse bias and ignorant? Yeah arguing with you is pointless, you keep to your console of choice, Playstation MOVE isn't a rip-off because it actually works.

Whatever you say the fact remains that the wii controller is very inaccurate and the games are generic and old. Now calm down or GTFO

  • @Rexmaster666 said "Whatever you say the fact remains that the wii controller is very inaccurate and the games are generic and old."

Why because the guy that tried wii ONES thinks so....Please fanboy! Your ignorance is staggering. And your debating skills are lackluster at best. Here lets use your tactics.

Whatever you say the fact remains ps move is still a copy/RIP-OFF of the wiimote. Sony game are generic cash-ins for unsocial gore junkies without girlfriends. Now calm down and STFU.

  • @Pooverse Well atleast the Ps3 community have gone past puberty =)

I didn't try it ONCE, I tried it for several days for a long time, then I returned the peace of shit because there's so much better things in life.

Ps Move was being worked on before Wii was, and they use different tech, so no it's not a rip-off. I suppose you're 12 years old or something because of the lame insults you use, which is the age of many wii users.

  • @Rexmaster666 said "Ps Move was being worked on before Wii was, and they use different tech, so no it's not a rip-off"

Do you have proof to your ridiculous claims, Anyone could say anything they want without proof. Nintendo invented the internet, sony actually got the idea for ps3 from nintendo. I can say a bunch of unproven garbage too dude. Doesn't make it true. Now if you were to provide proof thats a different story. But this "Ps Move was being worked on before Wii" is unproven propaganda.

  • @Rexmaster666 said "Well atleast the Ps3 community have gone past puberty"

Wow what a frag junkie comment. I find it hilarious, how "frag frag space marine" "God of gore" give you little boys such undeserved senses of maturity. Please kid, Nintendo fans on average are much more mature and older than sony and micro fans. Nintendo did start making video games in the early 80's so their fans would be in their late 20's early 30's by now. Not 12....idiot.

  • @Pooverse Dude, you can still be 30 and be immature as fuck. And just because Nintendo made games in the 80's doesn't mean all their fans stuck with them, and they definitely acquired new fans as the years went on. The Wii is meant for children. Have you ever went to Wal Mart or Gamestop and looked at the Wii selection? Most of everything you'll find is aimed toward 10 and 12 year olds. Nintendo really has always made their primary target children...

  • @Pooverse well nintendo fanboys are either immature 10 year olds just intruduced to wii or immature 40 year olds who grew up with nintendo and can't let go of the past, and there is more to ps3 than just space marines and gore, you might confuse ps3 with 360 and Halo, anyway, I won't reply anyomore, it's obviously pointless talking to you, enjoy your 200 kinds of Mario games.

  • @Rexmaster666 Enjoy your endless supply of guns and gore games. 500 versions World war 2, frag frag space marine (killzone 1, 2, 3, resistance 1, 2, ect ect)or button mash monster killer. Which give you immature young adults such a undeserved sense of maturity.

It's like saying Star ship troopers (the shallow alien bug gorefest made for 13-21 year old boys)is a more matrue and thought provoking movies than Wallie which is made for and enjoyed by everyone, not just blood thirsty young boys.

  • @Pooverse ahem, I own a PS3 and I frigging hate CODs and I'm not into shooters. So please for the love of God will the two of you shut up and play some games.

  • @Pooverse Lol^^ also Infamous, Uncharted, GT5, LBP, and so on^^ I've never meet such a dedicated wii fanboy before :D Serisusly how old are you? All that alien shooting gore-fest is more a 360 thing! Playstation have a HUGE variety, not to talk about the very awesome mutliplat games which isn't on the Wii like Bioshock :) And what makes me laugh is that wii also feels like it needs some FPS so you get shitty versions of CoD =)

  • @Pooverse it's called a prototype

new technology dosnn't start perfectly, they can take YEARS to design and develop

  • for those that do not know...this is in fact not a copy of the Wii mote for one Sony had a patent on their motion control by 2005. their system works quite well because of what their using. for one even back then Sony was testing this , but you also have to think how much would that have cost the consumer back then the PS Move?

    1) it contains a magnetometer

    2) a dedicated ARM processor

    3) MULTI COLOR LED's

to top that off Augmented realitysomething the Wii does not do but both Move an Kinect do!

  • im just gonna sit back, grab some popcorn and watch the fanboys argue like children ^_^

  • this is so gay... I don't even know what to say

  • lolz fanboy fights

  • sonys way to ahead they are the ones that people still from 360 kinect ps2 tech wii ps2 tech huh i guess the fagbox fanboys cant say shit

  • imagine they had that 6 years ago...i wonder what they will have hav for us in 6 years xD

  • @390fusion wtf??? is sony retarded motion gaming has been out since the atari. thanks

  • playstation never copied the wii, playstation improved the Wii!

  • @zookolog lol is that why there so far behind in sales if thats the case microsoft improved sony lol that comment failed fanboy i want you to give me the best comment u got and prove to me sony dosent copie i bet you cant

  • @390fusion no im not a fanboy i own a wii and ps3 and im planning to get an xbox 360 soon- and also i dont care tbh all sony wants to do is get in to the motion market . the motion controller is a revelutionary thing and so companies will do everything to get money of of the idea. its just like the mobile phone - it was invented then companies develeped their own versions of them - they all operate the same way - just how the move operates the same way as the wii.

  • @zookolog you seem like a cool dude so im not gana sound mean but when your talkin about a topic dont compare it to something that has nothing what so ever to do with what your talkin about a phone company is completely different from games lol. but im kinda fucked up on how sony always says there the first to do motion when if you go back to 1986 or 88 some where when nintendo attempted this motion idead with the NES power glove if you dont know about it check it out somewhere it was bad

  • @zookolog nintendo stole the shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sony should sue them for all the profit theey made

  • @MultiPlaystationman microsoft started online hoo

  • @MultiPlaystationman No, the Dreamcast did.

  • @r1oot

You should change the title. .... 6 years ago.

  • WOW YOU GOT SOME BIG BALLS lol.

  • uhmm nintendo had motion controls first its called the power glove when the nes came out .

  • omg 6 years later finnaly gets improved

  • Funny thing is Nintendo Defence force refuse to acknowledge this video

  • Hey for PS2 its cool and lame at the same time XD.

  • Why this wasn't implemented is beyond me. I so would've bought this for my ps2.

  • thats prety sick ......lokslike they perfected it with the new wands

  • Factor 5 confirmed they worked with motion controller on gcn for rouge squadron 2 when they were developing the game. The game come out in 2001, so Nintendo definitely thought about it before this video come out.

Not to metion this video is a BALL on a stick without buttons. Wii Remote come out and Sony made this UGLY ball thing look just like a Wii remote, same lay out and all.

So Sony fanboys you can't argue they did not copy.

  • @Rocky1331 there is an eve earlier video than this dating back as far as 2001, so does that mean that sony still copied, all you wii-ites do is spin the truth to your favour because you are jealous.

ps the reviews are in for move and guess what none of the reviews think that ps move is an copy, they think it is much better and more precise and guess what they love it

  • @PSMOVER where is it I'd like to see this earlier video

  • @Rocky1331 nintendo also created the power glove which is pretty much motion sensing.

  • @TheGamerboy777 alot of ps3 fans dont know about that they were born in 1994 that shit passed them buy oh and tell them that gameboy had a camera befor psp will yeah thanks : )

  • @390fusion screw you taking sides with the nintendo shit screw the gameboy was the most patetic nintendo system that you can shove up your vagina hole

  • @MultiPlaystationman wow nintendo is shit now hum thats kinda funny cause all of everything you play yeah nintendo started first except online play which in a way sega started but im not gana get into that better yet fuck u poop dick

  • Actually it would be PCs that started it all (especially online).

  • @DanteForever20XX i cant argue there pc is cool im getting a new cell for it soon

  • wii mote suxs ...........sony rulezzzzzzzzzzzz

  • @LaikaTheSpaceHero you sux

  • this is just frickin ugly! that isn't anything like the wii so dont say that nintendo copied it

  • @jonkarlja we dont sya wii copied it, but the wii guys says sony copied the wii remote, but they was on the idaea first, so they didnt steal it from wii.

  • @jonkarlja they copied the ideia...you're mom's vagina is the ugly thing here

  • @MangakaAndPivotMan what did you say? are you talking to the mirror again?

  • @jonkarlja yeah you're really cool...tell me that the nintendo didn't copy this....and tell me that the ps move isn't better than wii....just admit that the pwnd the crap outta wii....guess you'll just have to wait and buy a wii 2 no ?

  • @MangakaAndPivotMan Have I said that the wii is better than the ps move? I said that this shit is ugly

  • @jonkarlja

it was a prototype dumbass its basically the same idea

  • the wiimote isnt anything like this. this is just the eyetoy being told to track a ball on a stick instead of someones hands or face. the wiimote has additional sensors to give the console more information than where an object is on screen.

nintendo had prototypes of the wiimote in 2001 and had the final design down by 05.

this is more like kinect and the new sony eye than anything

  • @MyBrainIsMush Nintendo itself has said that they didn't come up with the concept of the Wiimote until 2004, about two years after Sony demonstrated this technology to developers for the Eyetoy.

  • @CollectionOfCrazy nintendo hired a company called gyration to develop a one handed motion controller in 2001, i'm looking at the web page now.

google "first wiimote prototype" and click on the first link, it's a gizmodo article

  • @MyBrainIsMush The Gyration controller on a technological level doesn't even resemble the Wiimote or PSMove. Motion controllers existed long before 2001 but the specific kind that Wii brought to the market didn't exist until 2004.

  • they need to put this on the move, online would be amazing

  • wtf. Sony are ripping off the wiimote. While they have a Kinect on the tv. Who are they going to steal from next? Coming soon. Sly the Bandicoot.

  • @MrMarblesOrAmI pay attention, this came out 6 years ago, WAAAYYYYY before the Wii, so technically was the first on to use this technology.

  • @LordGrizzington

Then explain how they stole Microsofts tech? This video is fake!

  • @LordGrizzington powerglove for nes

  • awesome

  • No way!!! haha fanboys of the wii and xbox have one more argument less

  • @curtisstyle One more argu---

    What are you saying? lol

  • Xbox and Wii fanboys quit crying now, SONY in fact came up with this idea first. Kinect is gonna be the worst of the worst.

  • wtf is that? is that bubble gum

  • PS Move have better Tech created with 22ms of delay, looks like Sony develop the same controller for 10 years. About Eyetoy and Motion Controller for PS2.

PS Move, HD Graphics, 22ms delay with 1:1, capable to use it in 3DTV, better technology with Bluetooth, endless batteries, full traction with Camera and NOT Infrared, the capabilities can do more than Wii motion plus.

And with PS Eye, full body Traction, Face and Voice Recognition.

PS Move + PS Eye = Thank you Sony.

  • LoL Kids (Below Me)

  • No u r incorrect max. A bundle comes with under 100$

  • wiimote was in production long before the ps2 was made

  • this isnt a motion controller. he could have just as easily used his hand.

  • yes of course, nintendo ripped this off, because the wii was thought up on the spot in 2006. right?

nintendo could have been developing motion sensory 10 years ago for all we know.

The power glove? yeah, mattel beat everyone to the punch.

    Its so bad.

  • @lyzedpara nintendo didnt beat datasoft(le stick) for atari 2600.

but the same can be said for analog, voice recognition, dpad, gamepad, led.everything mainstream come from something that failed or 3rd party years before.

    classic gaming expo-july 31st,Vegas,tropicana hotel.

  • Comment removed

  • @ultrasongs dude this is eyetoy, it was the shit, all the stuff he did it can really do and more

  • @louiethesnowman Oh yeah i thought it was just a joke. I completely forgot about the eyetoy.

  • Wow sony a plastic ball on a stick. Sony copied everything else in the wiimote when they add this to the move controller. See sony copied the accelerometers, angle sensing devicesand light tracking camera from the wiimote to make this plastic ball on a pencil a viable controller. They still copied nintendo.

  • Wow the ps2 can do this it's great

  • Oh look, it even has the ball on it. Sony came up with the idea first. Nintendo implemented it first. Sony then realizes it's the perfect time to use their motion controller. They get bashed for it being a "cheap rip-off." You want to see a cheap rip-off? Look at that $150 Eye-toy being released on the 360.

  • @edik23 Thats not cheap! I could buy an PSP for those money! :O

  • @edik23 From the technology aspect, the "eye toy" of the Xbox is about 2 as far evolved as the PSMove system. 30FPS Voxel camera with 320/240 pixels is not that bad actually.

But for information: Sony didn't invetn the "Motion Capturing" process. Which actually is the PSM system.

So noone was creative or invented anything!

  • @edik23 Move isn't a "cheap rip-off" its an "expensive rip-off"

With $80 dollars for each controller + nunchuck thing

I would rather buy kinect for $150, able to play with 4 friends on the spot, than have to pay $80 for each controller set + $40 for the ps eye. So if I wanted to play with 4 friends on ps move, the total price would come out to $360 (coincidence?).

    Compare that to $150

  • @MetalReaperMax Bundle: 100$. controler, eye, game. not to mention all the games ALREADY in stores and in playstation that are ps move featured or required.

so youre saying, you want to buy a 150 dollar thing, that has a more primitive technology than the beginings of the wii? lets face it, when wii came out, it sucked. it got good right about whn they got the wii jacket and the new tch in it. regardless, what microsoft showed you, was videos. fake, fake videos. wheres the actual gameplay?

  • @MetalReaperMax by the way, have you seen actual knect at work? exactly. so go bitch about it at microsoft. not here. knect sucks, and WILL suck. technolog was already there. and theirs doesnt evn work. when i see gameplay of knect, not videos that couldve been acted out, ill believe it. so good luck being original microsoft! (:

  • @altera6 but no one has tried to do it yet. at least not without a "magic wand".

  • @altera6 yes, it plays like a beefed up wii

just like kinect plays like a beefed up eyetoy

  • @MetalReaperMax

actually... kinetic only supports up to 2 players, can't use a skirt, can't sit down, can't play good games, and if you think that kineticmals is a game you should stop gaming right now

  • @TheDarkrider2403 like the ps move games are better?

eyepets looks even gayer than kineticmals.

  • @MetalReaperMax

well, we will have killzone 3 in 3d and motion controller, resident evil 5 gold edition and more games with motion support

also i had first the xbox 360 and still play now and then, but come one, they have no games, only halo and gears of war and that's it, i bought the ps3 after the shitstorm of the xbox conference, it was way worse than nintendo's conference of the last 3 years, i can't bealive you think kinetic will be the shit when there are no games announced for it

  • @TheDarkrider2403

3-d will only be possible if you fish out the money for a brand new sony 3-d television. so you can just cross that off of your list.

and killzone is a game for hardcore players, and motion control is not meant for hardcore games. i can guarantee you that if you try to play online with the playstation wii mote, you will get your ass handed to you. causing you to switch back to the regular ps3 controller.

  • @MetalReaperMax

i have a 3d ready tv, also a new project from sony says that it will be possible to see 3 diferent thing in tv with the glasses, so yeah why not, but that doesn't matter here

what matters is that i will have game to play with motion control while xbox users only won't have any

  • @TheDarkrider2403

and cmon now, the 360 has the best games

    halo

    gears of war

    fable

    left 4 dead

    mass effect

    and much much more

    ps3 has nothing on that

  • @MetalReaperMax

halo is shit, i hate it, gears of war is on pc and 2 is shit compared to 2, have left 4 dead 1 and 2 on pc thanks to the steam sale, mass effect (also on pc) is nothing special

ps3 has valkyria chronicles, demon's souls, metal gear solid 4, killzone 2, uncharted 2 best game of 2009, god of war. heavy rain, little big planet and much more, seriously, xbox has no exclusive, even the wii has more games

  • @TheDarkrider2403

mass effect 2 has the most potential for goty 10 so far, so saying its "nothing special" is quite the understatement.

and for you to love killzone and hate halo, is just a complete showing of fanboyism. killzone is a fun game and i enjoy it, but halo is superior in just about every way, except maybe graphics if your one of those graphics>gameplay type of people

mgs4 is awesome, ill give you that. but the next metal gear is being made for 360. so there goes an exclusive.

  • @MetalReaperMax

actually mario galaxy 2 will win GOTY and killzone 2 is superior to halo in every way, better graphics, better online, better campaign, fast paced and less shitty community, seriously halo 3 is full of 12 year olds screaming and saying shit like leet and noob also it lags like crazy at times

and no, not a lost exclusive because it's an spin off, good luck playing a real mgs on xbox

  • @TheDarkrider2403 i doubt it will, mario galaxy 2 is mario galaxy 1 with extra levels and add ons. nothing improved from when it won goty last time.

killzone 2 has shit for online compared to halo 3. can you create levels and game types, replay and edit every single match you have ever been in, upload them online, download other peoples maps and game types, and actually play competitively on killzone? i think not

  • @MetalReaperMax

mass effect 2 is the same as 1 with more pew pew and less rpg

i like forge and stuff but it's better to play a good match than making maps that nobody will play again, also i would never play a game competitively, those who play in tournaments are faggots that think they are the shit and never have fun playing, but whatever what matters is the games announced for the future

  • @TheDarkrider2403 and national treas....... i mean uncharted 2 was fun and all.

but it wasnt agame, it was a movie.

and i beat it in 6 hours. very unimpressive for goty

god of war is cool if your into the whole blood and gore stuff

little big planet i do not like at all. but thats just my opinion

and valkyria chronicles and demon souls are the only 2 exclusive rpgs on the ps3, while 360 has way way more and are either better or on par with those 2 for ps3

  • @MetalReaperMax xbox only has lost odyssey and blue dragon, the last remnant is on pc and infinite undiscovery is shit

also, a movie? it's called cinematic gameplay, the same as gears of war but this was well done

  • @TheDarkrider2403 who cares if those games are on pc? last time i checked we were arguing over 360 vs ps3. and ps3 has none of those.

and you forgot to mention fable, mass effect, and phantasy star universe

ps3 just has demons souls, and that game is more aggravating to play then it is fun

  • @MetalReaperMax

if i can play games in a pc to get a better experience why would i want to get it on a console?

then, xbox has no exclusives at all, fable is not a rpg to beggin with, mass effect on pc and better, if somebody has a decent computer why bother buying a console with no exclusives?

phantasy star universe sucks, it's like i say that mod nation is the best race ever but it's shit

also, only casuals die in demon's souls, the game is really easy once you know how to play it

  • @TheDarkrider2403

a good computer can cost way more than any console, and you constantly have to upgrade graphic cards and software.

and i dont know about you, but i prefer to sit down on my couch with a controller and play on my 52" hdtv, instead of hovering over my computer with a keyboard and mouse.

and if i have a psp, then why buy a ps3? since the psp has little big planet, ratchet and clank, mod nation, jak and daxter, and more.

  • @MetalReaperMax But the PSP ports are exactly that, PORTS and there is no way you can convince anyone that God of war is as good on the PSP as it is on the PS3

  • @edik23

    Your wrong,

    NES

Powerglove, yeah it sucks but it counts.

The PS Move seems like the next step to gaming on PS3,

but i'm more interesting what games they offer.

Still don't believe that it will be as good as they say it will be.

    Gonna wait and see!

And maybe play Mario Galaxy 2:D

See what i did there, i love both consoles even the Xbox 360 :D

  • @edik23 The methods are entirely different. Nintendo's tech is in the controller. Not in a camera. They did not "come up with the idea first" Motion control has been around for decades! Sega Activator? Power Glove? All motion control devices.

The reason why people instantly compare Sony's Move to Wiimote and Nunchuck is because Sony's Move controller looks extremely similar to the Wiimote and Nunchuck.

  • @edik23 Technically, nintendo was the first to try the idea of motion controlls with the powerglove all the way back on the nes.

Sure, the thing sucked but it was still the first try at such technology, many people have been experimenting with the idea of motion controlls since, but nintendo was the first to do it in a way that was good.

It seems like it will be the same case with the virtual boy and the 3DS.

  • @multicaal2 no man it was made by mattel nitendo tried to pick up the idea but they never actual market or released it

  • @edik23 be honest. are any motion controllers really any good? for anyone who says move>wiimote>>>kinect, to you I say: REGULAR CONTROLLERS>>>>>move>kinect>>>>>wiimote

  • @edik23 Also, I owned an eyetoy, and all the games for it were dumb except for antigrav, which was ok, and kinect is wayy better than the eye toy
