Yeah just because it has 3 amazing actors doesn't mean automatic oscar. The movie was boring and bland. Tried to come off as another Departed but failed miserably. Watch real movies like Goodfellas, and Casino but not this waste of time.

What a great movie. For those of us that saw departed last year it's kind of like that. But Departed was such a great movie not much can compare to this. Still though this is a great movie, much like American Gangster

-Poor chracter development and supporting characters (Some weren't even needed)

They basically used the "We got Mark Wahlberg and Robert Duvall" line to get ticket sales.

This movies should be called "We Owe the 10.75"

After the sex scene, there's no flow. It's just a bunch of disjointed shit happening, some of it totally implausible. They couldn't decide what they wanted the movie to be. One minute it's super-realistic cinema verite, the next it's some kind of ridiculous Oliver Stone ripoff.

This movie is so good! Mark Whalberg is absolutely gorgeous and the film is so well pieced together. I can't wait till it comes to dvd. One of the best I've seen in a long time!
