é playback sim, tanto que no inicio Simon pede ao Dave para "rodar a fita". Isso era para a gravação do video clipe. Depois o show continuou normalmente.

PS: Breath after breath NUNCA foi tocada ao vivo. Portanto eles não estavam preparados para toca-la.

Where did you get this? I was there in first line!!! I was 15 years old. If you see the video clip from breath after breath, you would se a man who is shouting to the camera, and if you read the lips the man says "we gonna kill you nigger!!!" but in spanish "te vamos a matar negro!!!" This man in shouting to the cameraman, beacause the people of the back was pushing us to the front to appears on camera. We wont the cameraman out of there, because the people was killing us. Sorry my bad engish.

@cgabb If you notice at the beginning of the show he says "we're going to play our show but first we'll shoot a video" so Simon is telling them that beforehand. If you see the official video for this song, you'll see footage of this concert. They don't do playback at concerts, but I guess since this was for a video, they allowed it. Cheers!

Simon is singing along with the backing track, some musicians are playing but it was meant to create a 'different' effect. The live inserts of the video for 'Breath after Breath' were shot in Argentina, which is the main reason they played it at this one particular show.
