How can anyone have preferred Setanta to Sky? Setanta Sports News was awful! While the gorgeous Natalie Sawyer gave us breaking news of Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer to Real Madrid on Sky Sports News, some "thing" on Setanta, resembling Animal from The Muppets, was giving us their breaking story that Kevin Keegan has just signed for Southampton ... as a player ... from Hamburg SV!!
And it's not sexist to have babes presenting a "boys" rolling sports channel - it's simple business sense.
You don't have to be a tidy piece to present sports news, that's just sexist. I loved the poor quality presenters. I'd rather that then that rupert murdoch induced source of plasma-burn any day of the week. RIP Setanta!
I knew it was bad but I didn't know it was this bad!! What a pathetic excuse for a sports channel. Good riddance. But what puzzled me was how Sky hired the likes of Di Stewart, Georgie Thompson, Natalie Sawyer, Millie Clode - all nice totty to keep the lads watching - and yet, Setanta seemed to go the complete opposite. Some of their women were hideous! My "fave" was her who did Steve Claridge's phone-in. She had a huge face with a chin and jaw like Desperate Dan. What WERE Setanta thinking???
Will freeview subscriptions be cancelled automatically? I'm not paying £10.99 a month for fuck all.
