I don't know what you have studied but I have studied engineering and cybernetics.I can tell you this. When we can predict the weather accuratly then we can predict the human body accuratly. I've commented on the inaccuracies in this video many times, but I'll sum up the main ones for you.
1.Koren states that the increase of special education classes in public schools is because children receive more vaccinations than in the past. This completely ignores that fact that for the past few decades, "mainstreaming" of special needs children has been a huge priority in our society. Thankfully, we've progressed from the old viewpoint of hiding away these children.
The Education for All Handicapped Children Act was passed in the early 70s, and along with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act guaranteed that special needs children received an education. Before these acts, special needs children were put into state institutions or group homes and hidden away. This does not mean that there's suddenly a huge increase of special needs students. It's just now they're more visible to people because they're not hidden away.
2. Koren states that asthma is almost unheard of in unpolluted cities, like Mexico city, because people there don't receive as many vaccinations as the US does. This is untrue. In 2002, Mexico had a 96 percent vaccination rate for children ages 1 to 4, compared with an immunization rate of 79 percent for 2-year-olds in the United States. Also, approximately 10% of the population in Mexico City suffers from asthma.
3. Koren claims that the Amish do not vaccinate and that there are not amish children with autism. These are both untrue. Many Amish do vaccinate their children, and there are amish children with autism. This is an often repeated myth that was started by a reporter, Dan Olmsted, who works for an anti-vax group. Here is a non-profit clinic that specializes in treating amish children with special needs:

4. "Vaccinated kids are not as healthy as unvaccinated kids" argument. Health, overall, is dependent on many things. Genetics, lifestyle, diet, access to health care, etc... Vaccines are meant to help prevent the diseases that the vaccine is for. They don't make anyone "healthier". They merely help prevent certain diseases. Now, let's look at some statistics. Statistically, many unvaccinated children come from higher income, higher educated families. cont
Higher income families generally have a "healthier" lifestyle, overall, than lower income families. They also have greater access to more and better health care. These are very important when comparing "health".
A child getting a vaccine is going to help prevent the child from getting the disease the vaccine was for. It's not going to make the child eat a healthy diet, be active, have proper medical attention, have a genetically advantageous family history, etc..all which determines health.
5. Koren states that Polio was always known to be caused by pesticides. This is not true. Polio is caused by a virus. To say that it is not is to reject germ theory.
6. I also have to point out the general smarminess of Koren paying for this film shoot and setting it up to appear to be a legitimate, unbiased, medical information program. I think they should have a disclaimer that reads "This is an advertisement".

Koren is stating that traditional medicine and "Big Pharma" are dangerous, and promoting his alt-med therapy, chiropracty, instead. He's using lies to make traditional medicine seem dangerous in order to promote his line of work. Aren't you conspiracy theorists always screaming about ethical conflicts and "following the money" when it comes to "Big Pharma"? But, typically, when an anti-vaxer does it, it's "not important" and "making a mountain out of a molehill". Very typical & hypocritical.
Vaccines do help protect against diseases. I know exactly where you're going with this question. Yes, better sanitation and nutrition has helped stop disease. But it's not the only thing. Modern medicine and vaccines have done more to stop the spread of diseases than sanitation and nutrition. I'll give you a few examples:
Chicken Pox vaccine: wasn't available until the 1990s. It wasn't until AFTER the vaccine was released that case rates of chicken pox DROPPED >95%. They've STAYED down for almost 20 years now.
Hib vaccine: Wasn't released until the late 1970's early 1980s. Before the Hib vaccine, case rates were around 50 in 100,000. Now case rates are around 2 in 100,000
What vast improvements in sanitation and nutrition occurred so recently that would explain the drops in these cases?
Many areas of the world still live in very poor conditions, lacking good nutrition and sanitation, yet rates of diseases have fallen in these areas as vaccines have been introduced.
Main one: smallpox. Smallpox has been completely eliminated from the wild, even in areas that have poor living conditions. It wasn't until an intense vaccination campaign in the 1970s was smallpox eliminated.

One of my best friends has two sons..an 8 and 10 year old. They both also got the chicken pox last year which they have also been vaccinated for. I don't know what you have studied but I have studied engineering and cybernetics.I can tell you this. When we can predict the weather accuratly then we can predict the human body accuratly. I've commented on the inaccuracies in this video many times, but I'll sum up the main ones for you.
1.Koren states that the increase of special education classes in public schools is because children receive more vaccinations than in the past. This completely ignores that fact that for the past few decades, "mainstreaming" of special needs children has been a huge priority in our society. Thankfully, we've progressed from the old viewpoint of hiding away these children.

The Education for All Handicapped Children Act was passed in the early 70s, and along with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act guaranteed that special needs children received an education. Before these acts, special needs children were put into state institutions or group homes and hidden away. This does not mean that there's suddenly a huge increase of special needs students. It's just now they're more visible to people because they're not hidden away.

This myth was started by a reporter working for Age of Autism, an anti-vax group, Dan Olmsted. It is [patently untrue. I'll also have to point out that using the Amish, a genetically closed group, as a control group for a disorder that may have genetic causes, is not a valid choice. Amish have a very high rate of dwarfism, compared to the general population. Using the same logic as Koren, I could state that vaccines help prevent dwarfism. Of course, they don't, but I hope you get the point

Higher income families generally have a "healthier" lifestyle, overall, than lower income families. They also have greater access to more and better health care. These are very important when comparing "health".
A child getting a vaccine is going to help prevent the child from getting the disease the vaccine was for. It's not going to make the child eat a healthy diet, be active, have proper medical attention, have a genetically advantageous family history, etc..all which determines health.

5. Koren states that Polio was always known to be caused by pesticides. This is not true. Polio is caused by a virus. To say that it is not is to reject germ theory.
6. I also have to point out the general smarminess of Koren paying for this film shoot and setting it up to appear to be a legitimate, unbiased, medical information program. I think they should have a disclaimer that reads "This is an advertisement".

Vaccines do help protect against diseases. I know exactly where you're going with this question. Yes, better sanitation and nutrition has helped stop disease. But it's not the only thing. Chicken Pox vaccine: wasn't available until the 1990s. It wasn't until AFTER the vaccine was released that case rates of chicken pox DROPPED >95%. They've STAYED down for almost 20 years now.
Hib vaccine: Wasn't released until the late 1970's early 1980s. Before the Hib vaccine, case rates were around 50 in 100,000. Now case rates are around 2 in 100,000

Main one: smallpox. Smallpox has been completely eliminated from the wild, even in areas that have poor living conditions. It wasn't until an intense vaccination campaign in the 1970s was smallpox eliminated.

One of my best friends has two sons..an 8 and 10 year old. They both also got the chicken pox last year which they have also been vaccinated for. Him and his wife opted not to vaccinate and you have no idea how healthy his kids are. The other kids in their school are always sick..but his kids hardly ever get sick. And if they do ever get a flu..they are over in like two days. He had his kids blood tested once and the doctor said he has never seen such a high white cell count.

Her feet turned inward & had to be operated on. She's in a wheelchair for over 30 yrs now & can't do anything for herself. She has to wear special medical boots. Also, when my daughter went to college, in her Sr year she was told if she didn't take the Gardasil vaccine she couldn't graduate.

@delitemyheart Yes, the good thing here is: In the States, you can go online, [also go to your local city hall] & ask about 'Vaccine Waivers' for your state. They ALL have them so don't let anyone fool you. For some states it's due to allergic, medical reactions. Some states, [like Massachusetts] ONLY have religious waivers. If I were to have any more children, I would write out that vaccination goes against my religious beliefs, sign & date it. Also, it helps to have an alternative Dr.
