@Denymetanol The old days of Namco produced a lot of good games, this logo made you think a quality game was on it's way, just like the Konami, Taito, and Capcom logos.
@Bloodreign1 I agree, initially i picked Sony Playstation due the Namco support, and the first ridge racer or tekken smash hits (with loading minigames too), ... on the Sega Dreamcast and Ps2 era did an impressive work with Soul Calibur ( Tekken Tag is excluded :-P) and Tekken 4 / 5, but the 32bit era , wow...... nice games... and cool compilations ( your vids about namco musseum series), today Namco and Konami, needs new blood (titles), they are re-cycling too much their "golden age" sagas ;-)
@Bloodreign1 yes, and much old arcades, aren´t converted to actual systems (check system16.com website and the namco list of arcades/ hardware revisions, is huge o_O ) ... the creativity actually is - - -NULL :-(
So this never appeared on a game that wasn't for playstation?

Very cool logo, on the first AIR / ACE combat, was a bit frame/rate choppy, this is more smooth ;-)

@Denymetanol The thing is, their once creative juices have seemingly run dry. So they have to fall back on what got them famous.

@cameron20101000 It's on all 5 US volumes and all 6 Japanese volumes, I don't believe they use it anymore (the animation, not the logo).

From what I've seen over the years, Namco's logo has never really changed if at all very much.
