out here where I live, the snowmobilers are usually dicks, and they will throw roofing nails on the snowmobile trails to keep atvs from using them and messing them up. But I don't think they realize those trails wouldn't be there without atvs...

@Fearlessfront i hate atv's on the sled trails also! but these season is over and the trails are closed so this is the only legal time atvs can ride on them. They are talking about making it illegal to ride atv's on them in the summer. they make way to much damage with all the ruts. Later in the year you will see, the trails I am all are sand. so the snowmobile club in this area has to spends 1000's a year to grade out the sand berms from the high hp atvs berming the corners and what not
