Get a pedal bike. Get some kind of trailer. Put an SMV on the rig. Put a sign above or below the SMV. Ride it around town. I bet that would get noticed!
"psychology says, it takes three people telling you the same thing or one person telling you something, three times, on different occasions, before you start to process it and begin to believe it." WOW
@anubis2814 can you make a video about influencing people but in usual situation not at the street holding posters :D it would be great, I'm sure everyone will like it and I know you're good at finding interesting information. what do you think?
@insanewarlock666 Sorry, I'm an aspy and not well studied in influencing people. It's too nuanced for me at this point, though I will probably need to study it more as time progresses.
Spreading the message like you mentioned sounds like a great idea. I personally thought of something similar, but in the context of more confrontational protests that often follow the typical G20 meetings. Why pack together in one spot where everyone become easily herded and managed by the police when there's an entire city to work with.
well I think things will change if we manage to get bachman in power, she's what the country needs, because no one else cept maybe Palin...and possibly perry but he scares me, could motivate majority of the country to rise up and protest enmass then some of the batshit crazy ideas she has :>
The general populace has the exact same cognitive capabilities as a cow. Instead of being handed posters, they should be dealt a vigorous blow with a sledgehammer.
I've thought about the effectiveness of protests myself recently and apparently so have others.
There are supposed to be two sustained protests one called October2011 and the other Occupy Wallstreet.
They are going to try the relatively new (new as far as I know) Tahrir Square tactic of just camping out for weeks or months in Freedom Plaza or Wall Street. I'm curious as to how effective it will be both in terms of media attention and it's ability to change the national dialogue.
The money will always own the big media so I'm unsure how well this would work at educating the public, especially as they'd be able to send other people out with the same placards but with the opposite message. Still it's a good idea :)

you think those people in the cars are gonna be able to read all that (clip at end) when they are doing 40/50 mph?
gunnerdan70 5 months ago
@gunnerdan70 We moved it down to a more frequent stop light after 15 mins so people could read it when they stopped.

Very good signs for your group of two! I do think that's a pretty busy roadway, however-it would be hard for fast moving cars to see them.
I have gone to smallish anti-war rallies where there would be two or three in different parts of the city. I always thought that was more effective.
Now when Operation Rescue would show up, we'd get as many goddamn people as we could find. We needed 'em.

@unassumption
Well it will be closer to youtube because it requires real people than the news. People will be able to spot fakes easier in public forums
