I remember my Mother singing Sleep sound in Jesus to me each night before going to sleep. Precious memories, that I now look forward to doing with my own children someday! For now, I sing my sisters to sleep. Sweet moments that we can never take for granted! God is so Good!
I am 22, and I remember listening to the Sleep Sound in Jesus tape almost every night when I was a kid. It seriously brings tears to my eyes to hear it again.
I love this song - I was given the album for our son when he was a baby and he is nearly 22 now. Would you be able to post "Unseen Warriors" - I am looking for the words and can only remember one verse and the chorus.
When my grand daughter was still inside her mommy...they played "Sleep Sound in Jesus" CD I'd purchased for them...she's 12 yrs old now and still loves this song.
When she'd get fussy...all I'd have to do was start singing this song.
Even when she's not here, I enjoy this album...I know every word now...

I LOVE this song!! We have the casset tape and my mom sang sleep sound in jesus while she rocked me every sngle night, from 6 weeks till i got too old. She even accidently pressed the record button once so in the middle of the song it goes out to her voice saying my name then the song comes back on. That is a tape I will cherish!! And i can't wait to sing "Sleep Sound in Jesus" to my own children while i rock them to sleep!!!!!
That's a really neat story! This album didn't exist when I was a baby and toddler, but, like you, I would love to sing these lullabies to my own children some day. Thanks for listening!
