My mother and father make donations to these people but this story will make them think twice and they should think twice b/c euthanizing that cat when payments could have been made was wrong, and certainly not humane.. I wonder if these people do all that they claim they do

what about that kitten that got put down b/c the man couldn't make the payment to cover the feline's treatment right away? In Arizona, why could this agency hire a public relations lady to deal with the backlash from people like me who are pissed about this story, but wouldn't allow the dudes mother to use a credit card over the phone to pay for it. If i were an employ at that place i'd have made the payment, and let the guy pay me back,b/c i'm a HUMANE person.

Very nice but I'd like it a whole lot better if both the US and Canadian SPCAs joined together to end "kill shelters." Until you do that, my support and funds go to independent rescue agencies and non-kill shelters. Great what you have done but there should not be a Kill "shelter" in North America. For that shame on you!

The most Cruel, disgusting animal to ever walk on Earth has successfully 'eliminated' almost all wild animals and now he wants to denude the earth of all plants, trees and domesticated animals. In Bangalore and other cities ugly 'Man' is Neutering, (removal of an animal's reproductive organ) all dogs. Our future generations will pay through various means for our sins. There is no doubt in this! STOP interfering with nature. As you sow, so shall you reap!

In Lincoln NE thousands of perfectly healthy cats and dogs have been put to death because of the policy of the City of Lincoln. Animal Control PAYS the Capital Humane Society almost a million dollars a year to incarcerate and kill with tax payer money. Contact the Lancaster County Health Department and tell them you think this is abysmal, cruel, and immoral. Governments are not exempt from animal cruelty laws. Stop this institutionalized violence! And support HSUS who knows the difference!

"8,000 animals saved on the front lines" If you would help me turn just one animal shelter, like the Memphis Animal Shelter, into a No Kill shelter, we could save 10,000 animals a year, with just one shelter (and then do the same for hundreds more after that) saving millions and millions a year. Good for what you do that is good but you need to get of your ass and get with God's program and support turning kill shelters into No Kill shelters.

I support your mission. I am a foster home in WI who had donated volunteer time and money to the shelters in my area, including our Humane Society and local wildlife rehab center. I imagine the dislikers of this post have never been in a situation where they ever needed help. That, or their hearts are full of unwashed socks. Keep on keeping on. I LOVE YOU GUYS! I help animals every time I go to Pick N Save because we got a form from the mall and it was so every time my mom uses her value card at Pick N Save we donate to help animals, I also sometimes in the winter throw food outside so the animals can eat. All of my pets are rescued, we rescued them from the wild and cared for them, I pan on building a huge animal rescue center and vet with a forest behind it. I AM YOUR BIGGEST FAN! I love animals more than you imagine.
