  • This was extremely helpful thank you so much! I'm learning to check youtube first rather than fiddle with stuff for a long time first

  • please do full video about this hub ! thanks !

  • @russsboy

its probably best to do it in 2 or 3 vids as what needs to be done depends upon what you find inside.

  • If I not mistaken I have a bit newer model, because in my case parts 1 and 2 are already joined together. By the sound I guess the third part (locker) is in your case metal, in my case is... plastic. Gee... :-(

  • @barabantu

yeah. ill ask V man to add the specific part number for this cassette joint to the title / tag.

  • Thank you for the reply but I do have a question now that I put it back together.

I seem to have tightened the back pedal roller break. and I know its something I have done because it was running perfectly before I changed the tyres. I was going to take it apart again tomorrow any suggestions what I should do or not do.

I just love this bike and I would like to have running perfectly again. If it helps its 18 months old a Batavus so its a newer type I suppose.

    With thanks

it sounds to me as if the axle may have rotated as the wheel was unbolted.

  • Thank you for this . It was very tricky and I dont think I would have got it fixed without your help. Plus my language and my bood preassure was going through the roof and if my son had made one more smart arse remark he was in line for a good kicking too. After the help everything got a little more calm. Thanks

    Just a pleasure!
