  • I worked as a Priest's Archive assistant for more than 2 years, but they changed religious clerks. As my father went in hospital the new one asked me to go and work more. I could'nt, and now I've got no job. If you don't have even a piece of empathy with your boss, everything is impossible.

Now I feel unstressed and happier.I thank you for the car show and for the explanations. Thanks again for the video.CarlosG,Canaries, Spain. By the way: My material was complt.obsolete!

  • In the whole world the word "xerox" is commonly used as a synonym for "photocopy". Is it the same about tippex? How should we call the act of painting over typoes with tippex?

  • 'Xerox' is actually a brand name. However, these days the word is often used as a general noun and even a verb. You xerox (Photocopy) a document. Tippex is also a brand name and can be used as a verb. 'I had to tippex over the mistake'. Of course you can simply say that you corrected the mistake, without using a brand name. Another brand name which has become a general noun and verb is 'Hoover'. This is a brand of vacuum cleaner. 'I must hoover the living room'.

    (Misterduncan)

  • Also let us not forget 'Google'. This is both a popular internet search tool and a verb. 'I googled Misterduncan'.

    (Misterduncan)
