@Crf250rification visual kei is a grenera just like Ohare kei, diffrence and same, first same thing between these two is that they were fancy costumes, have crazy hair, wear make up, and crossdress. Diffrence is Oshare kei is like j-pop and stuff their songs are happy, not like gay happy they have good feling in them they are all positives feelings so their costumes color is bright, visual kei is dark so their clothes have dark colors, they play metal, punk, death metal their songs are sad

@coveruplies You think im being a hater but im not. You see asian men are usually more femine than men from any other race. Thats why they look good crossdressing or in any VK style. And a person not asian trying to copy the visual kei style will just end up either like a ugly tranny, scene kid or if really lucky something like the Cinema Bizzare guys. CB guys are close but still not it.
Trust me VK only looks good if its done by asians. The music is another long story.

Thanks. We're going to be such an odd band. We wanna get something together for our school's talent show. We have a vocalist playing bass yet she hasn't really done either of them much, a drummer who has yet to play set, and me, the guitarist and only member who knows what they're doing XD (I plan to at least teach them a little, I can do everything they're doing. )
A lot of musicians these days manage to perform as band over great distances on the net by first doing a cover of several songs separately and later mixed together. A good practice to see how good they can collaborate as a team so to start recruiting each other. There are a couple of Japanese on you tube doing that, perhaps you should consider doing the same and recruit one of them?

Well, im a keyboardist(well im barely learning how to play the KB) and i live in texas and pretty much I love all the syles of japan but I don't have a huge ego or ego. Well i don't really don't know but Im not over 17, actually im 16. I don't know if the visual kei makeup would look good on me but soon im cutting my hair to the style that Hyde has it in the vid:Daybreaks Bell. IM VERY INTERESTED!!!!!!! i live in Ft. Worth TX...im only 16 but i think i have alot of talent...i have my own gear...i LOVE visual kei,oshare kei j-rock or anything japanese...i look really good in visual kei...i can play the guitar,bass guitar, drums, piano/keyboard, and i can sing...i can accept alot of music except for country or rap...mostly when i write my music i use the harder kind of j-rock as my inspiration(like dir en grey and versailles)

Thanks. We're going to be such an odd band. We wanna get something together for our school's talent show. We have a vocalist playing bass yet she hasn't really done either of them much, a drummer who has yet to play set, and me, the guitarist and only member who knows what they're doing XD (I plan to at least teach them a little, I can do everything they're doing. )

A lot of musicians these days manage to perform as band over great distances on the net by first doing a cover of several songs separately and later mixed together. A good practice to see how good they can collaborate as a team so to start recruiting each other. There are a couple of Japanese on you tube doing that, perhaps you should consider doing the same and recruit one of them?
