Iphone 4 4.3.3 jailbreak with 04.10.01 baseband working fix

I have already Jailbroken my iPhone 4 (4.3.3.) with baseband 04.10.01 - how do I unlock it now?

@mdharis I'm sorry I don't know how to unlock, except Sn0wbreeze is normally used.

I'm on 5.0.1 now, jailbreak went smoothly so I'd suggest anyone upgrade to that

I'm already on iOS5 probably best bet for everyone at this time

i must congratz you on your find. I to found that i had lost my carrier and was contemplating on enjoying my new fond iTouch till your video. after a couple of attempts from the above mentioned items, I now have now my carrier back and have downgraded successfully to 4.3.3 thank you so much

@kakashit3 Hey overbreaking just means jailbreaking it again and again.

It's been over 6 months now but it was on one of the first couple screens there should be a checkbox for installing Cydia or not.

Folks having trouble with this system JB, consider the iOS5 Jailbreak, I had NO PROBLEMS of any kind when I did it with service, only thing is it's Tethered right now.

but with "SB settings" found in Cydia, you can just RESPRING instead of rebooting when a reboot is needed so you don't have to connect to a computer.

Ok guys I'm on 4.3.3. 04.10.01 and finally found out how to get tmobile to work with gevey sim after 2 months of trying, all I did last night was go into carrier and take it off automatic and select tmobile . only thing is I'm not getting 3G but phone works now with tmobile and gevey sim.

okay well I have a jailbreak iPhone 4 version 4.3.3(8j2) with baseband 04.10.01 and ive been trying to get Tmobile service and It wont read my sim!

I use to have AT&T and just got a new TMOBILE SIM CARD and Ive been searching online and youtube to get my sim working with this carrier and I cant seem it make it read my sim!

@narutovskiba88 sorry folks haven't been able to reply. Legit sim from provider as stated in my comments. I don't know if there is an unlock or ever was, I did this many months ago, still works fine.

I'd just wait for iOS5 JB at this point,currently it's only tethered on OS5 , but might be untethered soon.

@shivercanada i first used redsnow. then pwnage with activate unchecked and then finally restored using iTunes. it says my phones restored but i still get only one bar following by dashes. am i doing anything wrong here? my iPhones been an iPod for a while now. please help.

@otigffry I don't know what that means, has nothing to do with Jailbreaking. Worked for me and lots of other people since there are many steps I don't know what you did wrong. Possible your IPSW you used was not compatible or already changed

@shivercanada man... then why would you have to use Pwnage Tool / Sn0wBreeze.. Simply use RedSn0w... I used Sn0wbreeze for 4.3.3 for a phone and I couldn't install half of the ipa files that would work perfectly on other machines.

Just jailbreak it with the Activate button unclicked in Pwnagetool ( links are dead that I posted originally ) If it doesn't work do it like 4-5 times then it should. Don't know why but I've had service with no problems ever since I posted this.

Dude, you are great! basically is to UNcheck "Activate" in PwnageTool or Snowbreeze when you have a SIM from your paid service carrier and NOT to UNlock.

This only to jailbreak since baseband 04.10.01 not unlockable... YET!!!

@TheMelesim Yes exactly. Previous jailbreaks worked with my PAID SERVICE no problems, on this one you have to uncheck that otherwise it won't give you ANY service at all.

@AlexHerrod It doesn't UNLOCK your phone only gets your paid service back. Not sure if Ultrasn0w has been updated for the baseband or not since this video, hopefully it has.

They may have been updates to the Jailbreaks since that fixed it I'm not sure.

Had the same problem, run diagnostics in iTunes under the help menu I believe... It should say iTunes helper not working if that's the problem go to another computer that has a fully functioning iTunes and and restore as normal.... Then jailbreak again if you like way simpler and easier.... If that doesn't work you probably have hardware failure like an antenna is fried or your phones motherboard has issues

@nareshvelusamy had to do it multiple times until it worked. Again it's a general guide as I didn't write down what I was doing step by step. Try removing sim card as well before resetting network in settings.

@MrDipak1982 Hey just use the Redsnow and Pwnage tool, I simple did the jailbreak over and over 4-5 times then it should work. Don't know why it does this but it worked on mine, still works no problems.

her you go...first when your alrdy in 4.3.3 ios but don't have a signal do this..open your itune then just click restore (just leftclick restore without holding the shift) after your done restoring download the redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 and the official 4.3.3 ios then run redsn0w click browser and find the official ios 4.3.3 you download then follow the instruction then walla your jailbreak then you don't need to install the ultrasn0w you will have a signal without it..sorry for my bad english...

@pchristinemary this might work but doesn' t for everyone

1. Download "iFile" from Cydia or if on Mac, iphone Explorer ( FREE ) or Disk Aid on your mac then connect iphone to Mac if you're not using iFile .

2. Open iFile or iphone Explorer , go to /private/var/lib/apt/lists/.

3. Delete all files except the folder "partial". If your on the computer you can back them up just in case.

4. Open Cydia go to CHANGES, and refresh.
