  • I heard a song once on the radio back in about 2003-4.A real shitkicking number.

It used a sample from King of the beats. The little keyboard riff specifically.

Anyone know who did it and what is was called?

    Cheers.

  • @MrAlphapapa Any luck finding out? It's starting to drive me nuts now!

  • Never mind "Amen Brother" by The Winstons (great break though it is), this track is surely all about the Bob James "Take me to the Mardi Gras" sample...smoooooth, and much better use of it than "Peter Piper" or "The Power" or even "unfinished sympathy"

  • thank you William Hill advert! :D

  • Stepping Stone - The Farm

  • @myaccountsdisabled Took from both! Listen at 2:40.

  • @enjoyingmylife Yeah, mantronix the originator but i was pointing out that snap completely bit chill's track.

  • truely one of the kings of beats

  • It the amen break

  • @uozon .....the winstons break

  • @jordang187 the winstons is the band who play the amen people track, and in the track was that drum solo, so it is amen break not the winston break. The break was called by the track not the band the winstons.

  • this is on fire :P I can't wait to be freestyling to this one

  • old school !!!

  • Very nice beat. I've been looking for this for a long time. Thanks!
