Patkolo-bass is a normal 4-string-bass (104cm).Here he is playing his "Golia"-bass, he won this instrument with 18 for 1.Price in first Sperger-competition 2000.

Big size 5-stringbasses are 4/4 instruments.

Ok, Patkolò uses CORELLI strings. Good!

But all great players which use Corelli have a terrible db. sound. only when they recorded a cd the equalization changes and so becomes a great instrument. Pat doesn't use them! They will destroy you on live.
