does everyone go deaf when ron paul speaks? No one can debate what he's saying. Look in history - our problems in the middle east are created by us. It's not conspiracy stuff, it's history, you can find it anywhere.
so far all the big players have avoided directly answering the questions. If you want to gain true support youmust directly adress the questions not use political language dodgeing around the true issue
by the way, i also agree with you abut mcCain, romney, and guliani being the best. i think romney is good, but i identitfy more with guliani's moderate platform; plus he had one of the hardest jobs in the political arena.
Ron still gets little respect from major media outlets because his "old right" conservative views place the congressman outside the narrow confines of contemporary Republicanism. But the fact that the most avidly anti-war candidate for the GOP nod is raising money as quickly as McCain, the war's chief champion, offers one more indication that the media's anti-Paul bias is misplaced.
Ron Paul is the only presidential candidate that follows nothing but the United States Constitution. He votes for, and ONLY for, things that are directly supported by the States Constitution. His voting record will show it! He is for small government, and wants to keep the government out of our daily lives. A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for the beliefs of our founding fathers,
RON PAUL 2008!!!
Good job at Alabama Ron Paul supporters, 81% of the total straw pole votes were in Ron Paul's favor!
Ron Paul's response worried me a bit, both now and his comments in the first few parts. There is the assumption that if the original entry was flawed that the right thing it to somehow "undo" it by extraction. The clock can't be turned back, and we must realize that it would be our moral responsibility if we leave a destabilized state and directly cause a genocide.
And what do you want to do? The Iraqis themselves don't want us there. We hear all the time about 3,000 dead soldiers... what about the hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis? And if we give them protection that they don't want, it's costing American money and American lives. It's not right.
The majority of Iraqis are not necessarily the same as the minority rebel cells. Because a small section violently opposes the US doesn't mean that the whole nation does. FORAtv had a good situation report in which a local commander said that green zones free of violence are characterized by happy, productive people.
If staying results in 100,000 innocents dead, that is a tragedy. But if leaving means 400,000 innocents dead --that's unthinkable.
And how do you propose 400,000 innocent people are going to die? Some poor terrorist is gonna hop on a plane and kill us all? We've fought technologically advance societies, and you don't think we can handle a few fringe crazies? Terrorism is not as fervent as you'd think. There's a lot of extremists out there, not a lot of murderers. By being there we're creating terrorists because we're killing so many damn civilians.
I meant 400,000 Iraqis, when factional war sets three groups at killing each-other, and then even more when Iran comes in on a power play for more territory... and possibly what will happen if other nations make the same power grab. I wasn't referring to terrorism.
Whoever is going to die in Iraq is going to die whether we're there or not. We caused a civil war there. We're not protecting people. If terrorists want to kill people they can do it while Americans are there, and Americans just give them more targets.
Ron Paul is the truest republican up there, if that means anything. The stance of Dem's and Rep's has switched many times if you look at history. Guiliani scares me. Do some research about him and 9/11. by the way, this war isn't protecting us. its making ppl mad. We could have all of our troops home and still have the same Intel about attacks against the US. They are there to protect oil interests, not fight terrorists. We know where Osama is, but our president said he is not a priority.
I think Ron Paul should be campaigning on the democrats side, he is nothing but a flaming liberal. I also think Somatosatin is a flaming liberal he wants to make friends with the terrorists cause he thinks that as long as we do what the terrorists want then we can get them to like us and understand us. You libs out there need to understand terrorists are a threat, they are not our friends and we are never going to get them to like us.
damn right, it don't work and it already is a center of terrorism. in no fucking way can the US win such war; it's Mccain & Gulianis' dream tho and 'you gotta be asleep to see it happen'
if i was gay.
he will suck my dick.
that's politics.
Ron Paul is the man.
