@analizluna According to google translate "If someone can not understand what I write in Spanish, but I want to say that I've always been attracted to this car, I always knew that at some point handle my own truck ...... and have met a few months ago was presented with the opportunity to buy and cost more to restore it to me, I lack many things, but I really do not regret it 6.l USA 1986, and it really is a classic that I hope to keep for a long time since my lado.saludos Mexico"
@NoNy241 Whatever comes first... An offer I can´t refuse or I find new axles and diffs + money for tires. And I´m not really looking cuz I got too many projects going on
I wish you good luck and that economys turn around in Iceland. Don't ever sell that car, keep it and you will never regret. JEEP, it's a life for it's own. :-)
i have a 2001 jeep Cherokee when i bought it i knew id like it..never knew id love it this much. its freaking awesome. its my first car and im going to take care of it and keep it forever
greetings from green bay, wisconsin. u.s.a.. i own 3 xjs, and i can see you are as smitten as i am. they never let me down. they'll run on10 year old fuel, on 2 of 6 quarts of oil, and drive through stuff that would the scare boogy man. mud, snow, flood waters. it dont matter. they cant be stopped. at the end of the world, i'll load my entire family into my jeeps and drive away. i'll see you there!
I share your sentiment, man. There is no other feeling (regarding driving, of course) like being on the driver side behind the steering wheel of a JEEP. It's roughed engine tackles any load with ease (just watch the fuel, lol). Proper tires and you can get trough whatever road you find.
Mod it a little and there is nothing stopping you.
Don't let it rust. Remember Jeeps die rolling or NEVER DIE !!!
HEHE thank you for your comment and I am glad to say that my Cherokee is still in use even though it doesn´t see a proper highway anymore. Just gravel and mud ;)
very true. i drive a 95 cherokee and have no problem hitting the trails. my neighbor drives a commander and it looks like if it came anywhere near mud it would die. its too flashy with all that chrome. other models are no exception either. my friend drives a newer wrangler rubicon and its the same thing. looks too delicate to take the trails.
@gravediggmn If jeep had continued building the Cherokee sports with the 4.0 they would be bankrupt because 90% of them would still be on the road with 200,000-400,000 miles on them. There simply wouldn't be any new buyers. They just last to long to keep building.
@nirvana896 yeah, thats the sad thing about every car compnay these days. they make complete shit that your average joe cant fix. So you either take it to a dealer or you get a new car. Its all greed!
I had an Cherokee XJ 2 doors diesel engine and I miss him a lot too, nowadays I drive A Grand Cherokee 4.0 it's a great Jeep but still I miss my Old XJ.
yea wow, i have bashed these kind of stupid picture shows but wow, that was amazing, like the guy said, it was sentamental, very touching and nice jeep
Tou better woory about how to push 35's first. If and only if you have a Dana 44 or 2000/2001 8.25 rear can you push 33's without snappin a axle shaft. Just letting you know, so go with 4" of lift and fender trimming to stuff 33's and save some heartache and cash.
