I would call Chris Mullin almost as pure of a shooter in his prime as Larry Bird and Pistol Pete. Also, had Mullin had the benefit of the 3-point line while at St. John's, he would have set a Big East and possibly an NCAA scoring record which never would have been broken. Anyone agree with me?

Definitely one of the most underrated players in NBA history. Not too many guys put up 2000 point seasons consistently like Chris Mullin did. If Tim Hardaway, CM, and Mitch Richmond had a supporting cast..they couldve had a title run or two.

I was in San Antonio a while back, in a store next to the hotel where all the road teams stay

I asked this girl there what the NBA guys are like & she said most high-profile players were totally up their own ass and would hardly say shit and the only the bench type players would say hi or talk to people.

BUT she said whenever the Warriors were in town, Chris Mullin always took time to talk to anyone who approached him and had always asked her how she was doin when he came in there
