I think torreon is really an ugly place,Mexico is plenty of beautifull cities like D.F,Guadalajara,Morelia,Guanaj­uato and trust me torreon is so far of being one of them,light years,you must to khow to compare and you will be agree with me.

is because torreon is a new city is only 100 years old, and yes you are right they are better cities in mexico but take a look at theyr age and is much older than torreon but maybe is more years it will be so much better, and other reazon is that is an idustrial city not turistic.

Hi, I'm from England, I've been living about 10 years in Mexico I got admitted to med school in Torreon, and i think i might be admitted at monterrey too, if that happens I'll have a hard time deciding where to go.

Basically I dont care about what school I go to, both could be revalidated in England, but I'll be at that school the next 8 years.

Betweeen Monterrey and Torreon, where is people nicer?, where could I have a better (as in socially happier)life?... because 8 years is quite alot,

in my opinion i like torreon better, people are nicer here and eight years is enough time to enjoy every aspect of life in torreon. you can research and you'll find what foreign people who have come to torreon think about torreon, you will never find a negative comment monterrey is also hot but its way too humid and you sweat all day even if you are in the shade, unlike torreon where you just get in shady spot and you'll be fine, remember!!! outdoors activities start at sunset!!
