Well, i'm not a terrific game player, but i got past the difficult part with the flying platforms in 2 hours and swearing all the time. I preferred 3 boss battles in one level than that, sure, but it was not impossible. And, if you've got enough red orbs, you can buy the double jump in the air for Alastor (i don't remember the English name) and arrive at the Ifrit right from the start! XD

devil may cry is frustrating. resident evil series on the other hand is way better.

no devil may cry had such awesome enemies as the first part. even if some reappeared in dmc4, they weren't as cool as here. it looks awesome how the blades move under the ground. you don't see it like that anymore :(

Sometimes it lags(the capturer), but I've fixed that problem.

You'll need that wheel of destiny or something from the 2nd owl fight(a latter mission).

When your fighting the puppets, the battle song has elements of Lock and Load from DMC4.

The handguns or the grenade-launcher will work for him; just remember his attack patterns and you should be fine. Also, try using the air raid on him, it will defeat him quickly.
