  • I have more success teaching the married thumbs for young quarterbacks. It keeps the hands together, no seperation and the bottom hand fingers are not in the path of the snaped ball.

  • those kids are not youth... they should be pee wee

  • awesome teaching tool! Ive been having my qb's parents work with our qb's like this for years but your way of explaining it to the kids is better than mine. Thanks you for the "3 P's" approach, it will be sooo easy to teach tha way to the kids as well as the parents !

  • They should also interlock their thumbs. To prevent movement.

  • The pressure should come from the bottom hand. Top hand pressure can lead to too much seperation of the hands, specifically the base of the palms, at the snap and the ball can squirt through. Youth QBs are especially prone to this. Bottom hand pressure 'up' at the snap ensures this doesn't happen. Nice video.

  • Good Points Buckeye.... Most young QBs struggle to keep the wrist together and your reccomendation is correct regarding pressure from the bottom wrist as well... As long as the keep thos hand s spread. Thanks for the comment.

  • This drill will help our son learn the fundamentals of taking a snap from center. Nice work.

  • that was a good drill for my son to practice in our home
