I just think he has one Serious habit for throwing in the wholetone scale in his music. I guess its a physical habit more than a musical one, but it confuses me as to why its not something more typical. Usually habits form in Harmonic Minor, Melodic Minor, Aeolian, or anything Pentatonic or Ionian.
