@Naruto17141 not necessarily. some people do protect SPG players. Heavies do need support or they get flanked. Often this support will come in scouting for them. Mediums can only really kill a heavy 1v1 both at 100% of the heavy has a really slow ass turret like the vk4502b and can't chase a fast medium like the t54. Then the t54 rams our side and pins us and shots our side till we die.

There is no best tank. You have to take into account weight, ease of making new parts, fuel economy, cost, reliability, ease of use and especially enemy forces (are they using armour, planes, infantry, or all of the above).

A tank destroyer has weak armour but, costs probably 1/3 of a tank. So you have to destroy several destroyers to make up for one lost precious panther tank.

Use the right weapon for the job.

@b2o4e maus has armour, e100 - 2 guns to choose from, t30 - most powerful weapon, is7 has armour that can only protect from low-levels in front. i used to take about 40% from some lame is7, who caught me(3002db, 75mm with 138 penetration) in corner, firing at his vulnerable spots in front, himself he could not penetrate my turret. also i managed to penetrate his sides, so overall damage dealt was more than 60%. in vulnerability of its sides it can compete only with t30.

Maus=Slowest And Weakest with best armor and best Hitpoints.

IS-7= Fastest and Lowest profile with a good gun and 2nd best armor.

E-100= Decent speed And gun with low penetration but high damage. has HUGE weakpoints and a weakness to arty.

T30= T29 with a Badass gun.

Working with two panther I's myself, I have (with a Panther II) taken down an IS7. It's all about hitting it where it is weak, while keeping the IS from moving or rotating its turret fast enough. That's the weakness of about every heavy tank. They can be overwhelmed by smaller tanks.

This game is extremely unbalanced in so many ways. Russian tanks dominate. You can buy into tier 8. You can buy XP. Critical hits cause no damage. Detracking is out-of-control. Too many shots do NO damage. Some tanks have excessive module damage. You are stuck with incompetent players Post negative on the forums and they delete the post and ban you from posting. Play for FREE, don't bother paying.

Let me explain to you: I critically hit a module so that it doesn't function properly and yet that equates to no physical damage? How can it not function properly unless there was actually damage? This is very noticeable when tracks gets damaged, but tank is still at full hp.

Critical hit does sometimes take hp away from the tank, but it is supposed to mean that one or more of the modules were hit and lost integrity.

@greenarcher180 This isn't really like any other MMO that's just a stupid category, nobody cares. Critical will usually damage a component but rarely take tank HP damage. It would all be too boring then and everybody would die too quick. You gotta destroy the components first ;)

Russian tanks are slow, and normally have a major weakspot on the front, Example, KV-5's MG turret (small turret infront of the big 1) has only 15-30mm or so, meaning a fucking tier 1 can pen it, the IS-4 and IS-7 have driver doors on the front of the hull where anything will go through, all Russian tanks are also flawed by speed besides the mediums, but their flawed by sheer weakness. and you can't buy xp you moron, and I bought a lowe, After I got my IS-3 legit. =D

@wabzoo You dont have to buy a new pc everytime you want to play a new game. Make sure you can upgrade that one and buy a graphics card for it and more memory if available.Only time you need a new pc if it's too out dated and you cant upgrade it at all. Graphics card is mainly what you need for playing these free MMO games.

@parakeetman22 There should be an an tab in main menu called Tech tree, there you choose the right tree(rus, ger, allied) and then you need to research specific tings to get the right tanks. Im Quite shity at explaining but For exp, you need to research a turret to unlock better tank, then research the tank, then research another thing for a even better tank. I dont know if it helped, but good luck figuring it out :)
