  • i use the burt coyote lumenock in the red/orange and the pink i've tryed the the green and i didn't like them as much

  • @MRvarmintslayer I've been using the Nocturnals and have been happy with them. How do you like the Pink color?

  • get sand paper make a small cone and sand the inside of your shaft not to much and then a kind of blackish power should be left on the sand paper then insert the nock and it should work great... For the colors i have read that red is the best color

  • @ultimatelaxplayer21 Thanks! I ended up using red exclusively. My son is using green so we can tell each others apart at distance. I'm really liking the Nocturnal brand so far.

  • @TexasNative00 Did you do the sand paper thing??? and thats a good idea what is he using??? the same thing??

  • @ultimatelaxplayer21 I did not try sand paper. I kinda just switch all my arrows to the nocturnal ones. I still have the others but I mainly use these nocturnals. My son shoots a Nuclear Ice bow and he uses green nocturnals. Those in conjunction with some blunt tips, we can find his arrows pretty easy when hunting rabbits. I did a video on Blunts and there is some footage of my son shooting in it.

  • I've been using Nocturnals for the last two seasons, and they work OK but they are not very bright during the day. Also, with complete pass through shots the switch gets full of blood and it's very difficult to wash it out. Once the blood gets in it and dries, the nock no longer turns on. Lastly they can bit a bit of a pain to turn off. I'm planning on trying out the Carbon Express nocks once I use up the nocturnals I have.

  • @congo610 Thats good to know about the switch getting messed up. Is Carbon Express made by Lumenox?

  • @congo610 I have use nockturnals and got a passthrough and even in water they work

  • try lumenoks

  • @masterkiter89 I settled on the Nocturtals and love'm. I've noticed with the recessed switch on the nocturnals that they are less likely to get turned off if the animal bumps into something or falls on the arrow and turns off the the lumenock kind. I've seen that 1st hand.

  • DoubleTake Nockturnal-S Lighted Nocks

fits all and most arrows it is a really great nock im getting the lady pink my two buddies has these ones and the work great dont have to worry about magnet or that stupid brass ring. to turn on there switch activated by the string

  • @07bdog Totally agree!

  • lumenoks are a pain in the ass, dont get them. ur probably better of with what u have.

  • @ZwarrenZ I got some Nocturnals and I really like them so far.

  • @TexasNative00 Lumenoks are to Archery as Gun Powder is to Lead. Meaning, I wouldn't shoot and arrow without them.

  • ever hear of after burn lighted nocks? i found them onebay they are half price of all other kinds. has anyone ever tried them ones?

  • @huntr420 I've give that a look.

  • Check out the Lumenok. replaceable batteries, Brightest by far, Tough, Made in the USA. Check out their web site . Check out the HOW TO page.

  • @5Ivan7 Thanks! I tried some of the Nocturnal ones and they seem pretty good. I ordered some Lumenox online and it was the wrong size. Probably my fault so I ended up buying local so I was sure to get the right one. So far I am happy with them.

  • ya, These are great, used lumenok which was a waste. started last year with the lazer eyes from Carbon Express is awsome, sometimes a tight fit where its hard to turn the light back off. but lights well, we just did a 3d shoot with the lighted, one of the best thingks

  • the allen one probably doesn't damp the vibration from the string

  • try out the nock turnal and the colors red yellow green blue white pink a whole lot and they last a long time:)

  • @MrJohnnycashless I'll check them out too.

  • Comment removed

  • The one from carbon express is made by Lumenok :)

By far orange is the best even on a sunny day

  • @drag0nzx Which one blinks instead of staying totally on? That might be easier to see in low light over a constant on. Thoughts?
