If nothing, the expanding skylines of Makati, The construction of the worlds 3rd largest mall (Mall of Asia) or the Increasing height of Manila skyscrapers should be a clue.

There are indeed a lot of nice places in the Philippines. But hey, they got a point! Majority of our school system sucks, a lot of our streets smell like piss, there's trash everywhere, it floods a lot... Majority of Filipinos are undisciplined... we've got one of the most corrupt government...
I've been working with americans for 6 years now. yeah, they're stupid... but we gotta admit, we got our flaws...and we got more.

Nobody said that Phili is a flawless country thats silly...we do have the worst gov, and phili is a 3rd world nation (This is mostly due to the Phil Gov). But for you to compare US and Philippine flaws is totally absurd. Go read about Slavery in the US, Vietnam War, Iraqi War, Civil Right Movement, Segregated America, racism, and other current issues such as US health care and education.
