Peter should change his message to one of hope. Instead of pointing out had bad things are, he should say that he is going to do things to make the economy better. He doesn't have to promise doom and gloom to give his message. Point out all things you are going to do to make things better.

You have to wonder if the government knows something we don't know. Perhaps things are much, much worse than even Peter suspects and the gov is worried about anarchy! With all the people relying on a gov check and all of the people newly unemployed, can you imagine if the gov tried to balance the budget or cut spending? but we should bring the troops home and close all the US bases all over the world and just keep some here.

These bozos in the media are so funny. Peter can't be a politician because he doesn't wear hope colgne. The last thing we need is hope. Hope is the most negative word in the metaphysical dictionary. You can hope to win the lottery all you want, but you probably will go broke before you do. What we need is truth and honest politicians.
