I have this scooter and its ace for what it's for. Does anyone have any idea though as to how it can cope a wee bit better uphill without getting it knackered??? Otherwise I will leave it alone as it is good at what it does!

@abba1974 Just a case of buying a better one unfortunately or use the peddles. I took mine off but the peddles do help uphill. The most expensive ones can do 50mph when de limited and have no problems with hills.

They do have full electric versions that are as fast and as bulky as the petrol types. But they just as expensive. The one i'm riding there only cost me about £200. Not bad for a run around that costs nothing to run.

Many of us fire up our cars to run round trip errands of five miles and less. Do you know how wasteful of gasoline a cold IC engine really is? Short runs cost much more gasoline than the EPA gas mileage ratings.

it's a 'scooterteq' and they're a lot of fun. No insurance or license req'd in Canada. Anyone know how to adjust the governor on these???

800 is a bargain, when gas for a car costs almost 5 dollars a gallon here.

its not 800 dollars and if you snip the limiter it goes alot faster. they just sell it limited to 30mph so that it doesn't require road tax, insurance or a licence. Is legally classed as a push bike.
