The Ripstik is not a scooter. It's a skateboard. The beauty of the un-scooter is that anyone can ride it. I'm in my mid 40's. I would never ride a Ripstik. I have a lot of fun on this. My son is autistic and we both go out on these together. We both have had back surgery and I also wear a lift in my shoe. I can operate it. It's a lot of fun!
the ripstik is actually easier to use (once you get the hang of it) than this... just no brakes... and less exausting considering you dont have to move legs in and out, just swivel
