I've searched ever since Metallica released their version of helpless for a live version that captures anything close to the energy and vocal exellence or the recorded version, this comes close, they murder it live now, why? its argueably their finest recording ffs! they shouldnt play it, James just cant sing it anymore. plus they shorten it!!! GRRR!

Those kid of secret gigs are still happening and they're are the ones that keep musicians on track. They make'em feel the feeling of the earlier days that felt in a smaller stage than the arenas they play. I love the amateur soul! Apparently so does Metallica.
